We stopped in here this past weekend (Saturday) hoping to get something to eat for lunch. We were not able to order food because they were switching from breakfast menu to lunch menu (strange at noon). We ended up ordering a few pints. Atmosphere is good with TV’s around the bar. Enjoyed the visit despite not being able to order lunch (at lunch time). The beer was good.

No vegan options, I asked to take the sausage and egg off the vegetarian breakfast and swap them hash browns. When it came I had 4 hash browns half a tomato 1 mushroom and beans. The toast and potato bread was missing. I could have tea or coffee either as they had no milk alternatives. When it came to pay on the menu the breakfast was £5.50 which was reasonable however the waitress tried to charge me £6 and when challenged she was a bit rude and said I had extra hash browns. To which I replied I did not have extra I had swapped and still have parts of the breakfast missing. She then huffed and changed the price back to £5.50. which I feel was still to much for what I got.I was the only vegan in a large group so had no option but to order here. The food that arrived tasted nice and everyone else was happy. But in 2024 I would expect better.Dietary restrictions: Very poor

First time customers. Staff took us to a table and took our drink orders straight away. Food order was taken minutes later. We all had the Spicy chicken box which was absolutely delicious. Our waitress was very pleasant throughout and could not have been more attentive. Will definitely be visiting again. 10 out of 10.
