Horrendous!!! We arrived and where told 40 minute wait...no problem. But then to be left without anyone coming up and taking our order or drinks is ridiculous. If you cant provide proper service close down. Especially when you have staff chatting to each other instead of servicing customers.

Pie and a pint for lunch, Moulin rouge pie, mash and peas was quality. First time here but would definitely

The food was Amazing but there was lack of drinks. I'm from Yorkshire as a Yorkshireman we have our pies with real old ale. They did not serve this just started lager. Also they did not have mushy pea it must be just a Yorkshire think but pie and peas with a pint a real ale would give this 5 stars for me.I would definitely go there again as the pies were really nice and maybe bring my own ale.

I've ordered from here quite a few times when I'm in the office. Good comfort food. Gluten free options can be limited depending on the day but that way you know they're fresher.I appreciate that times when I've ordered here the staff have called me to tell me that certain items (particularly the gravy) isn't gluten free, which made sense why I would itch sometimes after eating here but thought it was something else I'd eaten.Dietary restrictions: Good gluten free options and vegan

This was my first time and I will definitely be eating here again. The food was absolutely amazing never had a pie as tasty. Was very goof value for money too. I give this 4 stars not 5 as they did not sell Real Ale and for me a pint of proper beer with a pie is a must. Buy apart from that I'll be definitely going back again.

Don’t waste your time or money here. Pie with pastry so hard I couldn’t cut it, frozen French fries, instant tasteless gravy and overpriced drinks

We went for lunch a couple of weeks ago. We ordered 2 'pies' and although they may seem small, they are quite filling and the ones we ordered were very good.

Came here with my family after they had recommended and it was lovely! The pies are cooked fresh so take a little while but 100% worth it! Good value for money and friendly, welcoming staff! Dog friendly too! I would highly recommend the free ranger pie! Or try the Sunday meal deal! All in all, a fab lunch! They’re great with coeliacs/gluten free and vegan too! (The toilet needs some TLC as there is only one main one and it needs some plumbing/paint work but very minor! Maybe if possible move the hand dryer as it goes off all time with it being so close to the toilet itself?)

If you can deal with terrible service and a long wait time…then sure come here. The pie was great as was the sticky toffee pudding. All that to say we were there for almost 2 hours.

What a great experience. Myself and a good friend who is a pie connoisseur (as are most people from Wigan) Went for a spot of Sunday lunch. Against his northern culture he opted for the chicken and mushroom pie and chips. I had chosen the red wine, steak and bacon pie with chips with a concern being if the flavours were too rich. To our relief and enjoyment it was delicious, the pie was constructed of a well textured pastry that did not go soggy and provided a decent snap, the filling was the most perfect balance of flavours, the chips were delightful. As was the chicken and mushroom. When it comes to the gravy, well, whos to argue when a hearty Wigan lad states "ay, thats good gravy that is". Id suggest stopping in for a pie, you'll be very satisfied.
