I have walked passed this restaurant many times. Wanted a restaurant that was quiet and reasonably priced with good food. This place provided exactly what I wanted.Ordered a banquet for two and sat in. The food was really nice and lots and we struggled to finish it. I was happy that the price was very reasonable considering the amount of food that was brought to the table. Service was good very polite and the food was piping hot. Did not have to wait for a long time for our meal to be brought to us.I can honestly say although the inside of the restaurant was slightly dated the food and service was really good. Its obvious it's a small family business and I do feel that support from the local community would be welcomed.I would highly recommend if you want to have a good Chinese meal in the Waterloo area at a reasonable price. Try it for yourself you won't be disappointed.

I have lived in the locality for years and I have never visited this restaurant.I took a look at the reviews and all appeared to be favourable so I visited early on a Saturday evening.Well either these reviews are false or I am extremely hard to please? Not sure which of the above is correct but if the posted reviews are false well this one certainly isn't.One word sums this dining experience up.... Horrific.I'm really not sure where to start??The premises.... zero atmosphere. I've been in greasy spoons which have better ambience. To compound this I had to put up with the noisiest diner ever going on and on about his medical conditions.... not the fault of the restaurant I know. The starters arrived...Hor D'ouvres combination.Absolutely dire and so greasy ?. Anyway managed to eat some of it and then waited and waited for the'waiter' to clear the table. There were only a few diners in but he was to busy sorting out paperwork at the till.Eventually he did and asked if we wanted the main courses.Obviously yes!! So we waited and waited while others were served and the takeaways went out.Eventually, after waiting in excess of 35 minutes we gave up and I asked for the mains as a takeaway. The family left and I waited a further 10 minutes.Got home and opened my duck meal. Took one look at the chunks of rubbery fat attached to dodgy looking duck swimming in a slimy sauce and put it straight into the bin. This was swiftly followed by a second dreadful chicken chow mein. The chicken fried rice compared unfavorably to the local chippy and half of this went into the bin.Overall as bad a meal as I have ever had. If I could give it zero stars I would. Grim

Food was absolutely awful, sauce was like water, Sui mai didn't look cooked so was left untouched, rice wasn't cooked, disgusting, won't use this place again ever.

Clean, presentable, welcoming and cozy. Food is well above the standard you might expect for the all you can eat price on a sunday, hat's off to them, faultless experience there today

We have visited this restaurant many times in the last three years and always receive a warm welcome. This is of course not fine dining but it is solid well cooked food with an extensive menu. We have never had a dish that we did not like, They do a number of good value offers which represent great value for money. The family that run the restaurant are really charming. It is overall a great value for money restaurant.

we have only been on a Sunday for the all you can eat banquet and it’s lovely.Cooked fresh and brought to you with a smile.Price is good too.Been a few times now and would recommend it to couples or families. It’s small downstairs but I think they have a upstairs bit too?
