My husband has been going every Friday for over 24 months or more . Fish was awful tonight., very dry and so small, considering a large fish, didn’t taste right too, all ended up in the bin. .. Not a happy costumer and will now never be going back.

Got cod chips curry x2 cod was so thin and small loads of chips to make it look better not very good considering the price of the fish i don't think i will be going back in a hurry we went there as a special treat for our anniversary

We have always had good fish from here went tonight not sure what time the fish I was given had been cooked but was not very nice I won’t be going back spent 20 pound on this meal

Food was decent but could be better. They put the fish and peas on top of the chips which made them soggy. Also the girl who served me put my carton of curry in sideways and it spilled all inside the bag.Staff seem a bit dopey all round to be honest.Also, was overpriced.

The girl that served me had no manners as soon as I walked through the door. I ordered fish chips and spicy curry sauce. The curry wasn't even hot temperature wise. She went to wrap it while in a tray when stated I wanted open. Then she asked me if I wanted a fork. It was obvious that I don't have a habit of carrying a fork with me to eat curry sauce. The fish was fine but everything else was not. I'll never go in again.

Abserlutely terrible fish. DO NOT buy from here totally ripped off . Small over battered horrific fish asked for large fish and was charge 6 pound and it come out looking like a fried gold fish it was that small. Avoid like the plague. Save yourself money and drive abit further for decent fish

After many months of having food from here whilst having my chemotherapy, they provided a small fish, chips and peas that was an ideal size. The young man even took a bit off as he knew that I couldn’t eat even the small portion of chips, so would only give me about ten chips and charge me accordingly.Today to go there to find it’s gone up, but also I would still have to pay the full price even though I only wanted about ten chips as otherwise the rest is just waste. To then be served it rolled up like a sausage in some paper and told we now charge to put it in a box, so more money again considering I’ve always had it served in a box every other time. To then be told I needed to pay for a bag as well, when I asked for one to protect it as I was in the car. So what was usually £5 I was now charged £6-20When I questioned it the two young lady staff, were not anything like as pleasant as the young man that is usually there.Overall unfortunately this time I was very disappointed and my experience was not a good one, which makes me wonder if I will be going back

Not even worth one star ordered fish chips and mushy peas twice... The fish was non existent plenty of batter though. The batter ingredients must have been changed because it was not nice.. We complained as we did and could not find much fish fair enough they replaced it but unfortunately the same thing... All went in the bin... Shame as we use the chippy alot
