Had a day at the spa. I was on my own but all staff were lovely. The back massage and facial was very relaxing and lunch with a glass of fizz was tasty. The afternoon was trying the pool, spa pool and hot tubs all were very nice.Would recommend to anyone, either in a group or on your own.

Absolutely perfect! If I could rate more stars I definitely would. All the staff are so welcoming and friendly. I added the birthday package on to our room as a surprise for my partner and it exceeded expectations, thank you! The spa was incredible, we had the mud rasul treatment and also a back, face and scalp massage, I have never felt so relaxed! All the facilities were great too and very clean.The food was exceptional; we had breakfast, lunch and dinner and they were all perfect. Plenty of options to choose from and there was more than one restaurant to pick from! So many options for the buffet breakfast, from pastries to cold meats and cheeses to cooked breakfast and so much more. The gardens are immaculate and so beautifully kept! We will definitely be coming back, thank you to you all at Thornton Hall

My friend and I stayed here (our 3rd time), and from the moment we arrived we were made to feel so welcome. The staff were exceptional, food was delicious and spa (although a little busy) was clean and extremely relaxing. I had a massage by Jennifer and I have to say it was the best massage I've ever had, plus she was so lovely and kind. So thank you, we will be back.

Excellent hotel, all the staff were particularly friendly and helpful. Only grumble we were at a talk and the sound system was poor. Only one mike was working and this caused problems during the question and answer section.

First time ever going to this hotel, I was looking for a night away to just relax and have a little break, as me and my partner live above the business we run and work possibly 7am-1am on and off throughout the day and we have a 2 year old!! So stumbled across this deal on Wowcher!!£189 for 2 people - the room, full spa access, bottle of Prosecco, £30pp dining voucher and breakfast the next day 7am-10am, we also booked a treatment (extra amount) but £45 so a 45min treatment per person is great value for money!!The room was immaculate, I loved the shower!! A proper jet shower head that the temperature amazing!!The spa staff were extreme lovely and polite and checking your comfortable every step of the way!!The ladies on spa reception were so lovely and helpful, me never being before I was asking loads of question (possibly silly questions) and yet they were so helpful and did so with a smile and reassurance, the spa was stunning the hot tubs out side were lovely and peaceful and I loved the snow cave never tryed one but love it!!The staff in the tapas bar weren’t a very happy bunch but they were polite enough!! (I get work can be tiring and people can have an off day)The lawns grill restaurant (the la cante one) just amazing, the food (we got the porter house sharer) so worth it, £80 so with our voucher we only paid £20 for food, a 25oz steak to share, a portion on homemade chunky chips each, a caramelised onion each, tomatoe and a sauce each, my partner had peppercorn and I tryed the truffle butter wich was gourgous, I will add photos below!!The only thing I weren’t to keen on was the sausage for breakfast but I am fussy with sausages were as my partner liked them!! Love the fact breakfast is served as a buffet style as you can pick and choose what you want, loved the fact there was fruit served at breakfast, with choices of cereals and yoghurts and pastry’s!!Easy check in with helpful staff and easy check out!!Thank you for a lovely day/night, thank you for the lovely food, we will 100% be back again (if we get chance) only a 34 min drive from our home!!I am so greatful my first night away in 3 years was at your hotel/spa, could of asked for a more calming and relaxing day/night everything was at our own pace xx

The food was lovely and all the staff were really friendly and welcoming and there was no rush or pressure to leave. The changing rooms included private cubicles and privacy in showers and lots of free towels provided.Really relaxing and will definitely come again. It felt like a mini-holiday.

My husband took me for his birthday to that hotel but made me surprised and order some balloons and chocolates for us as well,the room was with a balcony, bath with TV ,very luxurious.We also had a dinner and breakfast included. Anyone can find something for themself . Vegan, vegan,GF ,LF . excellent service,very helpful staff ( massive thank you for the reception and a waitress team ), treat you with big respect.Building inside is spectacular.Parking is big and freeSpa , swimming pool, gym, jacuzzi inside and outside,sauna ,all what you need.( one small minus, all spa facilities is in another building) .It's a great place for relax ❤️Rooms: Big comfortable bed ,TV a lot of channel, there is a coffee,tea, chocolate kettle/ machine, biscuits.Fresh towel,hotel ,spa information, ironFood & drinks: Breakfast -GF, V ,Veg, LF , traditional English breakfast, continental, hot and cold food and drink- buffet, bar if you drink a spirit.Dinner - GF, V, Veg , you can order any kind of tea, very good coffee, the menu is simple and good , steak , seafood,any other type of meat, high quality food ( perhaps some from local farmers)
