7 main courses served, all but oneserved barely warm. We mentioned it but couldn’t be bothered sending it back. If a kitchen has such low standards to send food out like that, then I’d assume they were only going to microwave it and send it back. It’s a long time since I had a worse meal than that.

Another delicious meal last night at Tibu. Cauliflower bang bang is a fantastic starter, the mains were perfect. The kids fish and chips is brilliant. The fish is so fresh my 6 year old loves it. Everytime we go here for tea the food is fantastic.

A great little find in the heart of town. Myself and a friend visited here for dinner whilst at Formby Hotel. We ordered lots of starters as we fancied trying a few things on the menu and each dish was amazing. Service was fantastic, the restaurant is beautiful and atmosphere was perfect. Highly recommend for any occasion.Parking: You can park right outside the restaurant

First time at TIBU last night. We went as a large group of friends and I can't wait to return. I was impressed as soon as I walked through the door. Beautiful restaurant, friendly staff and great service. I had the duck spring rolls, which were crammed with duck and absolutely delicious. I then had the best steak I have ever had and topped it all off with yummy sticky toffee pudding. Thank you for a great night and a wonderful meal.

Although the food might not look super attractive, it is super delicious!I had hoisin duck spring rolls, feather blade of beef and Christmas pudding which brought me lots of positive emotions about themselves. The meat is perfectly soft and juicy. The outer shell of the duck rolls is pleasingly crispy, and the rolls are served with little sour sauce that ideally suits to the dish.Especially I want to recommend having Christmas pudding with brandy sauce and rum butter. That alcoholic aftertaste is unbelievably good with the pudding itself. It made me want to try making something similar at home.Pleasant service. However, it is not cheap, be ready to pay for quality.Dietary restrictions: There is a qr code on the menu which will take you to the webpage with allergies and stuff.Kid-friendliness: Kids menu available

We came on a Friday night in December for my birthday meal, amazing! The staff always go above and beyond. We were able to choose of the christmas party night menu and the main menu. Spoilt for choice! I had the duck maki sushi as a starter. And the truffle tagliatelle for the main. Thoroughly enjoyed both dishes! They had a DJ in house this night which gave it a good atmosphere. The only thing is i would not call it a party night.

We enjoyed a delicious lunch today at Tibu. After all that Turkey I chose fish and chips. The batter was light fluffy and crispy and the fish was good quality and fresh. As all food is cooked to order everything was piping hot. Marco and his front of house team are so welcoming nothing seems too much trouble . Head chef Nick is second to none and his staff are proud to be on show through the glass walls. I am delighted to find a restaurant that ticks ALL the boxes. Happy new year to all !

We booked Tibu for 50th birthday bash which was on NYE 2023 The food was tasty but portion size very small. The DJ and disco was the othee4 end of the resturant from where we was sat so didn't feel part of the New Year celebrations which was what we was mainly there for. £65 per person for what we got seemed very overpriced The starter was roasted veg soup or duck terrine there was no other choice. Main was chicken breast with small dollop of potato and one piece of stem broccoli. The veggie option was pasta Dessert was ferraro Roche cheesecake There was no welcome drink on arrival and the food was served very quickly. We let the new year in and left soon as we could

Went as a group of 12 for new year's Eve and it was absolutely terrible. We were sat at the entrance and you couldn't hear the disco. We could have gone to wetherspoons and had the same atmosphere experience and better food for a fraction of the price. Majority of everyone at the entrance end of the bar left before 11.15 as it was that crap. Food was appalling, looked pathetic on the plate. Dessert vile. Ruined the night and we all said we wouldn't go back again for new year. Unable to provide the night they advertised, bar not equipped with sound to link disco to speaks for all areas of the venue. Over priced for what you got. Avoid for new year unless you guaranteed a set near the disco area. Zero atmosphere & very slow ordering & getting drinks

Excellent Christmas Day family dinner. The food was superb and the portion sizes were very generous. The service provided by Marco and his team considering how busy they were was excellent. We are already planning to book again for next year !! WELL DONE TIBU !!
