Very good fish and nice sauces :) well served by friendly staff. For this price in this location it's a baja. The fries could be better but it was still great and I recommend it!

The best fish & chips in Liverpool ?
Yukiko Kawamura
At the recommendation of someone who lives in Liverpool, I went to Yanni's, which has a local feel, for fish and chips.Order at the counter. Cash only.Wasn't there beer? I guess… I ordered a drink from the fridge, fish and chips, and a kebab.Fish and chips are ordered individually. The price of fish varies depending on the size of the fish. The price of chips also changes depending on whether you add them or not, and the size of the chips, and the price also changes depending on whether you add sauce or beans or not.Customizable fish and chips!Unaware of this, I was too busy ordering and ended up bothering the staff at the store. I'm sorry.(The staff, the old man and madam, were smiling and very kind. They were both efficient and the store was very clean.)For the time being, I don't know the size, soOrdered a large fish, large chips, and beans. (I also ordered a kebab to share with my companion, but it was difficult to choose the sauce.)After a few minutes of waiting, the food arrived. I was surprised at the size.It was bigger than I expected.I was worried that I wouldn't be able to finish it all, but the odorless, fluffy white fish was wrapped in a crispy coating, juicy, crispy, and delicious, so I ate it all. The chips were freshly fried and crispy so I ate them all.The amount of Dorne Kebab is also quite large. Is the meat inside sausage? It had an addictive taste, similar to thin slices. The raw onions were spicy and crunchy and served a good purpose.Delicious and cost-effective.Next time I definitely want to eat it with curry sauce.

The “small” fish was huge!! The portion sizes are amazing value for money, all the food was piping hot when it was bought to the table and the fish was cooked fresh to order! It’s really hard to find a nice chippy. This place was recommended by someone and we’re so happy we tried it!!! All the staff are lovely and even had time to chat even if it’s about Dr Pepper v Fanta fruit twist ?Next time I’m in Liverpool I’ll definitely come back❤️

Lovely produce but, as with everywhere during these hard times, was quite pricey so treated myself just this once.Vegetarian options: The usual chippy veggi produce .Dietary restrictions: Great if you inform themKid-friendliness: Yes , altho pretty small area, there is outside seating too.
For sure the best fish and chips which I've ever eaten. The Service is very friendly and the prices are good too. They accept only cash but that's no problem in my eyes. The ambience with the bistro seats and tables is a little bit to cold and easy but no problem I think.I will go back to Yannis when I visit Liverpool again for sure

Very simple but perfect fish and chips. They also serve kebabs and curry but we didn’t try them. To go or eat on one of the few simple tables inside or outside.
Amazing fish and chips, it was so good and fresh!
Chips and curry sauce were divine
