For 10 years I have lived in St. Helens, I have never been discriminated against in such a way before.I am very disappointed with the behavior of the woman at the cashier in this cafe, as I just ordered a coffee and continued to talk to my friend and she was obviously racist and started behaving in a particularly aggressive way.I was surprised and did not understand what was happening. I ignored her and moved on to wait for my coffee, but she kept looking at me and talking down to the other customers in line. I did not deserve this treatment in any way.she was obviously racist because she was talking while shouting and staring at me that "We have a problem with these people coming from who knows where - foreigners."I felt really bad and just left the cafe. I didn't say a word to her, but later I regretted not defending myself because she will continue to behave in this way with others.

I mean it is a coffee shop,Food, what food? I mean you don't go to Costa to eat so I can recommend the coffee that is good, overpriced but good. The service is great and always with a smile. If you like coffee you will love costa.The cakes are not as good and don't always seem fresh, but hey, you go there for the coffee so the cake if it happens to be delicious is a bonus. The staff are always nice, the service is pretty fast and not a bad place to spend your afternoon with a full view of the cathedral in the center of St. Helens shopping area.
