1st time going after seeing in the local press they were in hard times caz of the renovation work while the new bus interchange is getting built.

I thought it’s time I get here and after seeing pics of the breakfast offering it gave me a great appetite to try and the result was fabulous.

Always wanted to try here and finally got the opportunity to do so. Very friendly and welcoming. starters seemed to average about £9 and mains £24, but to be fair, the quality and portion of the food justified the price. I decided just to do the main as I was worried if the starter was filling. I'd struggle. I was right in doing this, but I long to know what the starter would have been like! There is a wide selection of food on the menu. I recommend this place and I look forward to coming back ??

The place and presentation is absolutely phenomenal. It's s true experience of India cuisine which is authentic. I definitely approved of this place to anyone, who are looking for a proper Indian experience. They will make you feel so welcome, assure abd reassure you of anything else.
They quite offer a true remarkable hospitality.
Let's talk about the food. Having been there a few times (based on my experience they've never disappoint).
Just be prepared for the different spicy Indian curry sauces, although not all sauce are spicy. They can even make certain curry dishes for you without the spice. They will offer you abd suite your comfortable need (as long as you ask). This is wgat I like about that restaurant.
Of course I will go back there again because it is my favourite Indian restaurant spot. I can assure you folks that if you're looking to take your significant other or a family to a food restaurant for their birthday. I highly recommend this place. It suits the bill and the food prices are reasonable.
Other India restaurants in Liverpool main city (like White Tiger and others) you will be paying double the price for the same food. So be smart and choose wisely.

A perfect children’s party venue. Staff super helpful in setting up the room and planning appropriate food for children - meal, drink and a dessert for just £5.75 is excellent value. On the day the staff couldn’t have been more patient, plating up the food onto platters so it could be easily shared. It was a busy bank holiday but afterwards many of our party went downstairs to have their tea where staff continued to be pleasant and friendly. We visit a lot and never have a negative review!

We had a lovely experience at Nando’s.

We had a table booked for 4:00 pm under the name Marta, and we visited as a family, myself (Leonardo), my wife, our daughter Yasmin, and Marta’s father.

From the moment we arrived, everything felt welcoming. The young lady at reception, whose name I unfortunately didn’t catch, greeted us with genuine kindness and escorted us to our table in a very professional and friendly way, a solid 10/10 for her.

During our meal, Sophie and Emily looked after us, and they were both excellent. They were attentive, polite, caring, and made us feel comfortable throughout the entire visit, a clear 10/10 for both of them. The service felt natural and genuine, not rushed.

The food was excellent, and combined with the level of care we received, it made the whole experience very enjoyable from start to finish.

Thank you to the whole team for the great service, especially Sophie, Emily, and the lovely lady at reception. We truly felt well looked after and would happily return.

Best kebab around Rainford, hands down. Been going to The Village End for a while now and it never disappoints. The meat is always spot on, proper fresh salad, and the portions are more than decent for the price. The garlic sauce is class as well.

Ordered a mixed kebab and chips this time and everything came out piping hot. You can tell it’s cooked fresh and not just thrown together. Staff are always sound and get the order sorted quickly even when it’s busy on a weekend.

If you’re local and haven’t tried The Village End yet, you’re missing out. Proper reliable takeaway and easily one of the best kebabs in the area.

I feel bad for waiting so long to write this... after visiting on a whim with friends, I don't think I would want to go anywhere else to eat. The staff are amazing, we literally had our meals designed for us based on what flavours we liked by the amazing chef. The staff were so knowledgeable about the food they could offer, everything had a story and they made you feel like nothing was too much trouble. For anyone suggesting the wait time was too long, this isn't Mc Donald's, all food seems to be cooked from fresh and tastes incredible. If you want immediate feeding go to KFC, this is a quality restaurant and that takes time! The wait, which isnt an issue, is so worth it. Have a bottle of wine and a chat and you will be eating before you know it. My food was so delicious, so tasty and well prepared I just couldn't believe I was in St Helens. There is not one bad thing I can say. Very few tables so you feel looked after, and like you are lucky to be there. Just try it, you will not be disappointed, and the value for money is outrageous! You will be gutted your stomach cant hold more! AMAZING!!!!

Normally it's really nice. Been a good few times. Normally go when it's not been too busy. The food has been excellent on these occasions. We normally get the banquets. You get a lot of food which sometimes is good just depends if you're hungry.
The only time that wasn't great was New Years Eve. It wasn't awful but the food wasn't up to the usual standard probably because it was so packed. But it's what I expected.
Overall I would highly recommend it. Lobe the rice as it could be a meal on its own it's like a special fried rice. Lobe the honey chilli chicken too.
Normally 4 or 5 of us go hence the price I've put.

The location is handy as it on the link road coming out of St. Helens on the way to the M62.

However, the road the exit is on can be busy which can make it a real pain to get out of at peak times.

Parking: There isn’t much parking which can be an issue during busy periods.

Once a week for the past couple of months I've stopped here on the way home from work to buy a (takeaway) sub for dinner.
The place is very clean, the staff are so pleasant + helpful + the food is always well presented, fresh + delicious.
I can't comment too much about the atmosphere of Subway because I never eat in there - but the friendliness of the staff does give the place a good atmosphere.

I very rarely go to weather spoons, but on this occasion we wanted breakfast as our own B&B didn't start serving until 10.am.
We were very surprised.
I paid £2.79 for a small breakfast and my wife went for the traditional breakfast priced at £3.69
We didn't expect much, but, as I said we were very surprised.
No more expensive B&B breakfast for us anymore.
