Had a lovely meal here last night, 4 people, 1 mixed grill, 1 sirloin, and 2 ribye, steaks were perfect, soft and really tasty. Rachel looked after us and couldn't fault her. Will definitely be back soon

Absolutely disgusted with this place. Attended Dec 28th with a family of 10, brother up from London staying at the Premier Inn, and we all got together for a meal. Arrived in the pitch black at 19.10 and left at 23.30, spent over £200 in the restaurant and guess what I've received today, a £60 parking charge from a private firm. Not one employee in the place advised us that there were restrictions or that we had to register our car so please beware! The food and service were not good to say the least, and after this, I will never be attending here again.

Me and my family went for Christmas Dinner, it was the best Christmas Dinner I've ever had, service was great staff were friendly and efficient despite giving up their christmas, would 100% go again next year.

What a wonderful experience! I have listed for lunch with friends previously and decided to opt for here for our first Christmas lunch out as we had family staying from down south. We were not disappointed! Our server could not do enough and yes we had waits between course, but that was welcomed as we had a nice relaxed catch up. The food was delicious and the chefs clearly work very hard! We enjoyed it so much that we have also just had a meal as the four of us before settling down for new years eve. Thank you so much to all the staff, I cannot understand the few disgruntled reviews on here. I can only think some people do not appreciate the great staff and effort they put in to make sure everything is great for their customers!

Family of 5 went for the Christmas meal; cost us £375.00 for a disappointing experience. 4 meals were served and the 5th one didn’t show up for a long time. Had to ask for it twice before it arrived. We did get an apology apparently it was down to some confusion in the kitchen. Then the same happened with the desserts, 4 came out and the child’s didn’t arrive. Again had to ask twice for it, but also we were promised spoon after the ice cream was served. They never arrived. Staff came to see if we had finished, before the spoons arrived. By this time the desserts had all melted. Just a shambles, we will not be visiting this place again that’s for sure.

Went for Christmas lunch -. 2 potatoes frozen veg 3 sprouts 1 burnt parsnip the smallest stuffing ball I thought is was another sprout!! Spent over £400 with drinks for a family of 4 adults and 2 children - we went looking for a takeaway on the way home! Not how we was expecting Christmas Day lunch to go! Never again

Terrible service all round. Four of us received our meals one had to wait far too long, everyone had finished their meals before the 5th one arrived. Dessert was served, again one was missing which we had to ask for. No cutlery for desserts. We was promised spoons which never arrived. We left very disappointed. We will never visit this place again.
Family of 5 for a Christmas meal and what an utter disappointment it really was, we paid £375 for a meal that was extremely late, half the party got their food and had finished before the other half got theirs, food has to be sent back, the delays between courses was completely out of order, we got served desert and it had melted before the third member of staff had actually brought us spoons, we had to chase up one of the deserts as the poor family member sat and watched us all finish before they were chased again. It was meant to be completed with a coffee and mince pie, we all left out of sheer boredom of waiting and waiting and waiting at the end of a disastrous experience. Complete waste of money, they clearly had too little staff working the night and even the table next to us was sharing the frustration.

The worst meal ever at the most expensive prices. Even with a discount code food was not worth the money. Vegetables were undercooked and festive menu turkey was certainly not turkey as we know it and portion size was meagre.To top our experience drinks were spilled over one of our party completely soaking them and the surrounding area. There is no chance of us visiting this pub/restaurant again and would urge other people to not waste their money.

Visited with family of 5 on Saturday 16th December, Rachel was our Server, and the most lovely experienced server we have ever had the pleasure of. She is so professional and experienced and brilliant with children, a total credit to the company.

First time here and my experience was good all round.The service was excellent and food amazing.Although it was early evening there were a few diners who all seemed to be enjoying themselves.

Trying to think of a worse meal but I can’t. We waited an hour for the saddest salad without dressing, and a roast dinner with the driest of roasts, soggiest over cooked sad veggies ever seen. I’m almost 100% certain the starter soup was from a Heinz tin. Absolutely awful, would not recommend to my worst enemy.
