Have just had a wonderful afternoon tea a frozen theme with Elsa as a surprise guest my granddaughter who is 3 was amazed as she loves frozen she hasn’t stopped talking about it can’t praise the staff enough you did a fantastic job if you have anymore themed days will be there it was lovely to see children having such an amazing

Waited a long time for them to take are orders. Then it was ages before they brought it to us and that was after us asking had they forgot us. At one point 3 of the staff where outside on the corner having a smoke. This used to be a good cafe.

This review is on behalf of my Mum and her friends. They visited last Thursday, waited 20 minutes and no staff came to take their order, had to ask staff if someone was taking orders, they then waited another 10 minutes before their order was taken, they were then told it was a 30 minute wait for food even though cafe was not full. A few people who arrived after them were served and received thier meals first. Food arrived and was of a poor standard, warmed up brown chips and rubbery ham on one meal. It appears as mentioned on other reviews that staff seem to serve regulars before anyone else, and this cafe is living on past reputations. Visited this cafe on numerous occasions and food was lovely, standards have certainly declined, and there are better cafes than this in St Helens.

Fantastic cafe with in my opinion the best breakfast st helens has to offer. Really great place with a good menu and changing specials so something for everyone. Amazing staff, great value, pleasant surroundings. A definite favourite of many around town, loads of parking and even have events including classic cars depending on the season. But when we arrived , and we sat down and waited for a waitress, nothing. Three ladies followed us in and sat obviously regulars, waitress is on them like a ton brick . Now behind us was three people who had not ordered as well as four people opposite, allwere in before us. The three ladies had ordered and been served and left table cleaned before we got served. Very poor indeed, and I worked in catering 25yrs.

Used them for a buffet for my wedding reception, worth the cost and there was plenty of food and everyone really enjoyed the food!

Drive past this place all the time we decided to call in. What a lovely friendly place it is. So clean and staff are so nice. We had the breakfast and as I'm a chef myself I couldn't fault the food. Will definitely be going back regularly.

Toast is rock hard, chocolate fudge cake was stale, cheese on omelette was hard. Very disappointed. Ordered from here for a couple of years now and it’s just gone worse each time.Back to your little reply! I asked for delivery you said an hour so I rang back and said will pick up you said half an hour he got there in 25 minutes and he had to sit and wait another 20 minutes before you give him the food because it wasn’t ready. The cheese in the omelette was hard because it had been microwaved! Never have I ever left a bad review on anything and when I do you go and lie about what actually happened ?

Called in for lunch, 21st Sep. It was packed, ordered Fish, chips n pies X 2. All cooked to perfection. Understandably, had to wait a bit for our food, but, WOW !!! Was it worth the wait, our food was cooked to perfection. Both our fish were massive, infact, never had a fish as big B4. There customer service was 1st rate, and, considering how many customers were in, they handled everything perfectly. The tables were all cleared n cleaned promptly, and everywhere was very clean indeed. Would well recommend PRC, and well deserved 5* ratings. Well done to all the staff.
