My favourite vegan place to eat. There aren't any others I've found in the whole of St Helens / Prescot area so it's really nice to visit Phoenix. Staff are so friendly and the food tastes unreal.

The Phoenix is the very best place I've found for vegan food, and I've visited quite a lot of places at this point! Only wish I lived closer ??

A warm welcome awaits followed by the most delicious food. Homemade pie, goulash, hotpot on the winter menu are firm favourites. In the summer I adore the buddha bowl. Delicious range of sandwiches and small plates. Open now and again gorgeous a Sunday Roast (bookings only) so deliciously and generously portioned- fantastic value. Can also highly recommend the cakes and my particular favourites are the bakewell, custard slice and carrot cake. Always fantastic friendly service ❤️

I have reviewed this eatery before some years ago, but felt I needed to do so again, due to a new venue and changes in menu. No words can commend this little gem enough. The food is plentiful and so well priced. I'd happily pay more if the prices inflated, because you will never leave feeling more contently fed. The ambience of the venue is lovely as are the staff. I can not recommend eating here highly enough. I ate there three times in one month, such is the appeal of the Phoenix Plant Based Eatery.

We went for Sunday lunch and it was excellent, very tasty as was the cake for dessert. We booked for Christmas dinner so it's an easy recommendation.

Beyond words that a customer has to provide accurate opening hours on Google. Have tried to visit this place more than once, and it's impossible to pin down when they're open as it changes. Closed on Sundays despite what other sources say.

Almost didn’t find as council wouldn’t let them put their sign up as it’s a listed building. The owner luckily for us was outside. Very welcoming and the place is like going into a friends front room. A few books and crannies and a very eclectic decor. Warm and inviting and the best vegan cakes I have found by a country mile! I had a potato based spicy shepherds pie maybe a teeny bit more seasoning?? As it was our wedding anniversary we where very kindly given an extra slice of cake as we couldn’t make our minds up, so delicious we will most definitely go back in our next day off as it’s a shame they aren’t open longer . On a side note they sell records(yes real vinyl ) and other bits and bobs. All in all a lovely homely experience thanks we will be back !
