I have fish and my boyfriend has burgers. They have both. A one stop shop. Staff are lovely and friendly. Service is excellent got our order right first time. A regular stop for us.Parking: Several parking spots later on.

Non delivery, after spending over £50 here via uber eats to delivery driver gave our food to the wrong person, we were told then they wouldn't do anything about it. Get in touch with uber for a refund. Of which is not available due to it reporting out for delivery.

Ordered from here a total of seven times, four of those times something was missing from our orders, but we didn't complain. Then last night we put an order in at 4 to be delivered at 6 through Just Eat. At 5.45 they updated it saying it was on its way and out for delivery, by 6.20 there was nothing so we requested an update on the app, they then changed the delivery time to 6.40. When we phoned the restaurant they said their delivery driver had come in late, I said that doesn't excuse giving false updates, they could have just told us. When the food arrived an item was missing, again, when I phoned back up I said it was ridiculous and wanted a full refund for the fact they had lied with updates, were 40 minutes late on an order placed 2 hours in advance, and had missed items again, and over all bad service. The manager tried to mock us and said "you want a full refund just because of a sausage." I repeated again why and he said he can't do it only the boss can so it would have to be dealt with in the morning and gave two further excuses of "the system is down" and "we're really busy here" and also tried to blame Just Eat drivers. When we sat down to eat the food was literally the worst take out food we ever had, it was disgusting. The crispy wontons were wet and tasted stale, the chips and salt and pepper wings just tasted like cooking oil, the chips were also soggy, the sweet and sour sauce tasted like sugar in water, and the chow mein was cold. Still not had anything back about the refund either.

Have used Crispy Cod over the years. Ordered takeaway and was really dissatisfied with what arrived....barely warm soggy chips,hardly any salad and thrown together. Kebabs were like cold burgers and hard to get down let alone digest... Never again ! Gutted I wasted my time and money, thanks Crispy Cod for spoiling a Saturday night takeout, hard earned !I'll vote with my feet and never return and will only remember this last meal when asked about the place.

We have used crispy cod for years but never again. The salad was off, food was missing and when telephoned to complain I was asked to go and collect but i refused so they delivered it which was 40 mins later, the food was cold and went in the bin. This takeaway has gone downhill recently and i won't be using here again!

Really surprised to see so many poor reviews. We ordered on 14th December via the app for delivery. Estimated delivery time was 45 minutes and the food arrived exactly at time stated. Had beef curry, fried rice, chips, spring rolls and prawn toast. All the food was still fresh and hot when it arrived and everything tasted great. Plenty of meat in the curry too. The only negative point for us was that the curry and spring rolls were a bit greasy. Would definitely order again.

The food and service from here is really good but it seems really pricey now. The fish and chips comes in its own cardboard box with the carton of peas, so there's not much room in there and portion sizes are limited and I suppose that's how portions are controlled. The quality is always excellent, the staff are lovely and there's a small army of them so service is quick. Great place and always really busy.Parking: Parking is available at the side but limited, although you can park on the road too.

Used to be fantastic food, sadly the portions have dropped in size and there doesnt seem to be much excitement in the food. Have been going here for previous few years and really enjoyed the meals. Sadly, the last few months it’s gone south, haven’t enjoyed our last two meals, hopefully third time lucky or we’ll go elsewhere. Hit and miss too sometimes with the friendliness of the staff lately!

Had a delivery, waited 0ver 40 mins and it has to be the worst chippy the portions where tiny ordered two large chips at £5.80 they where by no definition large more like small there wasn't enough to feed the four of us how very disappointing will not be going here again definitely not value for money

Deffo one of the best chippies in Merseyside! Get so much food for the price, they've never got an order wrong and food is always so fresh when collecting or ordering for delivery! So much variety under one roof, Chinese, fish and chips and kebabs, so perfect for the whole family.
