Had an absolutely delicious breakfast at Whistles today. The staff were amazing and the owners couldn’t have done any more for us! I would highly recommend and I will definitely be going again! Best Tea Room in the North West!!

Had fabulous food at Whistles today apart from an extremely rude lady who's behaviour and language was ignorant, unacceptable, unnecessary and upsetting most people and making the staff cry. The staff dealt with this amazingly but the woman's attitude was atrocious and disrespectful. Thank you for ruining a lovely experience.

Prices have gone up, but haven't they everywhere! The quality of the service and food is excellent and to a degree commands the slight premium. Large breakfast just under a tenner. Sausages were nice, bacon was nice, hash brown was nice, beans were nice, toast was nice. Mocha £3.30 was nice. Service was also nice. Over all a nice relaxed experienced.Parking: Small car park opposite. Gets very busy during the weekend and can be difficult to find somewhere.

Twice in a week we tried to go for a drink and twice turned away. As a cafe I don't know how you reserved tables for over a hour and half before they are being used, you surely must be missing out on business

First time visiting here, they were getting ready for closing but made us very welcome and we had the most delicious tray bake, very clean and friendly staff, well worth trying.

Yummy! Tea a little weak for my taste but coffee good alternative. Stronger teabags please ? you have fruit teas, so why not stronger builder's tea, eg Yorkshire or similar please?

Me and my wife had a great lunch here after our daughter's assembly at the nearby school.Service was friendly and fast. Food was great... really nice sandwich. Coffee great too.And nice relaxed atmosphere. Will definitely be coming back here
