We shop here frequently, and like most large supermarkets, it is invariably busy.Parking is in a large pay and display car park, shared with other stores in the retail park. The fee is refundable only in Asda with minimum purchases of £5.The selection of goods is as expected for a large superstore, including a variety of household items, electrical goods and clothing, in addition to the usual food stuffs and produce. Also like many supermarkets, the ratio of self-scanning tills to those operated by staff is not quite right and there are almost always queues. The self scanners always require the intervention of staff, in my experience. Today it went wrong right at the start after weighing our empty bags. However staff intervention was quick and efficient on this occasion, despite it being busy. This is not always the case. The store contains other services including photo printing, an optician, and a pharmacy, all of which, I have used many times previously, and can recommend.

Quality and prices good but the staff on the checkouts can be very rude. Also the tall guy with black hair who does the online order picking needs to slow down and watch where he is going. On serveral occasions my hard of hearing elderly mother has nearly been taken out with him throwing his picking trolley about.

Never ever get a job here the operations manager SARAH bullies and abuses the staff tries to cancel pre approved holidays intimidates the staff and is horrible to be around, and you will get punished if she doesnt get her own way

Your employee named Craig is rude, today he came to me in the mood for a fight, when I told him to leave me alone, his reply was to suck his balls. I will file a further complaint

Asda in general, swapping orders when products are available in store, and needing your life history if you call to ask a question, shopping there has gone from bad to worse.

Need to sort their staffing out!! I’ve had online deliveries for years from Asda, and the last few months have been the worst ever.. at least 6 substitutes a week.. has been as many as 12! Didn’t have that many in lock down, and it’s the basics like milk that’s getting substituted! It’s a good job the delivery guys are cheerful and friendly and so apologetic on your behalf! They understand the reasons customers aren’t getting what they ordered so why can’t the management and get it sorted..as usual tried to fix something that wasn’t broken ! Hopefully it improves otherwise will have to try another supermarket

When I shop at Asda, I never have found anything to complain about. It's tidy, bright and well organised. The complaints are probably from OLD people. Yes, the parking meters are not easy and yes , do have to queue.However..THE CAR PARK IS NOT ASDAS PROPERTY, NOR THE PARKING METERS , OR THE QUEUES. They are shared with other shops ,on central 12.Find out who owns the car park and complain to them. The problems encountered ARE NOT ASDAS FAULT.

Well, sadly i'm having to update my review.Recently my disabled mum went in to buy a mouse pad and mouse for £6.50. She paid at the self checkout and realised her stoma bag was leaking so asked where the toilet was. She was told there were none (despite there definitely having been in the past) and so confused and panicked she quickly went to leave the store.Security stopped her and claimed she never paid for the items and took her to a security room, before she was issued a permanent ban from all Asda stores. to make the situation worse, because of her poor memory due to Multiple Sclerosis she couldn't remember if she had paid or not. She was then forced to pay a second time for the items. We only knew this for certain as we were able to get the bank records to prove it.It took 2 weeks of fighting for my 60 year old dad to even hear back from them properly and in the end she was given a box of chocolates and some flowers as well as a generic "fill in the blanks" letter shortly stating "you are no longer banned from asda stores".To top it off, they then forgot to refund her till my parents remembered after they'd left. They refunded the whole £13, but with all the loops and pain they've put us through over £6.50? We've made the decision to shop elsewhere (which is a shame as me and my partner loved their garlic bread). If you do decide to shop at Asda - GET. A. RECEIPT!!! You never know if the security guards are actually paying attention or not.

Friday 18th August 2023I purchased a multipack of walkers chicken crisps. On opening realised sell by date 24.12.2022! Went back instore yesterday but unfortunately I couldn't find my receipt and was told nothing they could do. Surely mine wasn't the only packet I then went to check on shelf...all chicken crisps gone! As you're so busy moving every single item around in your store at the monemt is date checking and stock rotation not important! It might only be £2 but better in my pocket.Fed up of this asda not just this incident but lack of manned tills is also beyond a joke.

For such a big store it does feel like there is not much stock, especially non-food. Good facilities although toilets usually need a good clean. Parking excellent - free after 6pm for quick visits.

Seemed OK. Quiet so easy to get around. A little untidy in places.
