Everything from the food and customer service to the way it was presented was brilliant. The owner and staff were so warm and welcoming. Had a very tasty homemade oreo cake and scones. Best cafe all round I've been to.

You (and your four legged friends) will be given such a warm welcome here! So great this is an individual place, not part of a chain. Great value for money with tasty food and drinks! Just a shame we can't be regulars (we live over 500 miles away!!) But we will certainly visit again when we're next in southport :-)

This is a friendly venue for lunch or coffee. The staff are friendly and the food is great. There is wheelchair access. The atmosphere was marked down as our last visit was at a very quiet time, usually it is good.Wheelchair accessibility: Readily accessible for wheelchair chairs with lots of room to manoeuvre when inside.

Visited yesterday, and was best roast dinner we've had in a long time. We could taste that everything was home made, it was all delicious. We were recommended to get the small one, and it was good job we did because it was big ?Also had home made apple pie and custard, and was also delicious. We will definitely going back ? Very good value for money too ?

We were absolutely blown away by our Sunday Roast today. We have eaten in many establishments in Southport and the Sunday Roast at Dolce on Lord Street blasts the competition out of the water. It was truly amazing- £10 with a choice of beef or chicken. We both had beef. Loads of meat - delicious plentiful veg and roast potatoes cooked to perfection. The service and staff couldn’t have been better - very attentive and treated us like family. We also saw other dishes including the all day breakfast and they too looked delicious- we will definitely return. Fantastic home made food at a great price.

Very good Sunday roast, tasty, shame cafe was nearly empty (not owners fault) busier it is, the atmosphere gets better. Maybe a little background music on would help too. Thoroughly enjoyable meal.

Would avoid like the plague was charged 12 pound for 2 breakfast sandwiches couldn’t even get the order right and charging more for 3 items on each rather than 2 and even then not having the order right to then not even be able to give me a carrier bag to take away, and for it to just be a mediocre sandwich anyway is beyond me, AVOID
