After a mix up we were offered a complimentary meal and drink we were served by abigail on arrival very cheery and polite and the chef was very polite and cheery to like the guelder rose we know so well food was fantastic fresh and the meat tender thankyou so much for restoring our faith and yes will fldedinately be returning
Carvery time Been a long time coming we came here once 6 years ago and enjoyed it thoroughly now we live here we had to come back be rude not to and were not disappointed Parking brilliant Entrance warm welcome we came around 12 noon loads of tables The pub was lovely clean great atmosphere Staff Polite professional happy yep a rare thing genuinely happy and was nice how they greeted their regulars the same as non regulars Food Well 11 out of 10 had the gammon and turkey the guy...read full review

Good food (had the Carvery) at reasonable prices.Staff were very helpful & friendly ... we required Gluten-Free options & were not disappointed.The bar staff understood our requirements & checked things out for us.The chef at the carvery could not have been any more helpful & cheery - that gave us great confidence in our choices.
