Decent pizza and pasta. Quick service and friendly staff. I had the veggie option and got to say yes it is fully loaded!

Second recent visit. Day after Boxing Day so very quiet. Excellent service from the only member of staff on duty. Food, as always was excellent.

The food wasn't that good had alot better in a pub ,the service was shocking we waited 2 hours for our main meal. Won't be recommending to anyone.

We arrived to our booking and found the resteraunt was very quiet for 7pm on a Saturday evening. We were greeted by a server who seemed uncoordinated and couldn't figure out where to seat us in an empty resteraunt, only for us to be seated near the main entrance adjacent to a window with a menu; meaning we would have passers by looking in at us which was very uncomfortable. We did ask if we could change tables, but the server said none of the tables were clean so we decided to remain in our seats. Once seated our server immediately asked for our drink order, giving us no real time to consult the menu, so I politely asked if we could have a few minutes with the drinks menu. Once we had our drinks order taken it took 10 minutes to receive them (a single glass of wine)... all whilst considering how empty the resteraunt was. We ordered food and it was good. We enjoyed our food very much and have no complaints in this regard. However, we were motivated to pay our bill as soon as we finished our meal and leave due to the uncomfortable atmosphere and generally poor service. We also noted that several people came in to the resteraunt, who didn't appear to have a booking, and were turned away. When I asked our server about this she said it is due to the lack of kitchen staff.Overall, a generally poor service with a uncomfortable atmosphere however very good food. Price also was a bit steep for what we ordered. I probably won't be returning anytime soon.

Sat down with my family to enjoy a birthday meal, on a table which was placed next to another table with 2 screaming babies in high chairs, (clearly very tired at this late time of night), we soon realised, the children belonged to a member of staff who kept tending to them whilst feeding them food from the restaurant. We then waited 1 hour for our starter, which was ‘ok’ then after waiting another 45 mins, we’d decided enough was enough. We went to the till area (where all the staff congregated to chat) and said we would not wait any longer for our main course. The girl on the till said she was really sorry, but there were big staffing issues. We did not pay for our meal and we left! Never to return……

Predictably good, tasty food. Friendly responsive service. Nice atmosphere, space not too crowded.

Just wanted to add a review for balance as there's been a few bad ones lately. I know they had to close a bit recently due to COVID staff shortages. We went for tea yesterday (Tuesday night) with low expectations and were very pleasantly surprised. Really friendly, attentive service, food came out really timely and hot, portion sizes and quality were great. Busier than we expected so actually a nice atmosphere and plenty of staff, we had no issues at all, the reviews seem like a completely different restaurant to us. Had a lovely time!Kid-friendliness: Paper menu with activities on and crayons, nice attention from staff

Strangest restaurant experience I have ever had, after waiting for nearly an hour for our starter I was told there had been an issue with the food delivery that day. Eventually our mains were brought out, having missed our starter completely. We weren’t charged anything for the meal, which was just about edible. Put me off going back to any prezzo, even though I have enjoyed them in London before

Booked a day in advance only to turn up to a restaurant that is closed! I had my mother-in-law who is disabled and two children. Looked up their website, said its open! What a complete waste!

The food was average but the service was shocking! We waited an hour for starters and then another hour for our main course. People around us were equally unhappy! We ended up there because everywhere else was booked up...now we know what they had tables!

We ate in Prezzo last night and had a really beautiful meal. We both chose lasagne and shared a garlic bread. The lasagne was very tasty and filling. For dessert I chose Scillian lemon pie and my husband had tirimisu, both delicious. The young lady who is studying at a local college and plays football for Everton ladies was so friendly and chatty. A credit to Prezzo. Credit also to the young blond lady assistant manager. We had a really enjoyable time.

We had booked a party of 13 for dinner and a 50th birthday celebration with cake. The booking was cancelled by the restaurant on the afternoon of the booking, citing staffing problems. Fortunately we were able to find another restaurant, which went out of the way to make up for the disappointment and anguish caused.

Waited a while to be noticed and seated. Waited a while to order my drink. Waited a while for the drink (blood orange lemomade). Ordered a chicken burger and truffle fries, waited about 30 mins for this to come and when it did it was cold. The burger was luke warm and soggy, the chips were hard and cold, the food had obviously been sitting there for some time. I was really hungry, so I ate the food and (nice big portion of chicken, but soggy bun and cold) and I couldn't wait to get bill. I would have sent it back, but I just wanted to eat and get out. I will not be returning, will be going to the independent Italian restaurant next door but one next time. I came here as I had a discount voucher. Maybe they don't employ enough staff to run the restaurant... an awful lot of waiting for burger and chips.

Service absolutely disgusting, never been to a restaurant were everyone was complaining about the time it took to get there food ,in the end we and several others walked out.
