Had a great browse around and a couple of bargains although the prices have increased a lot over the last few years so bargain-wise it's not as exceptional as it once was. The cafe is staffed by volunteers who do a great job and the food is good but adjust your expectations and patience accordingly.

Quite disappointed really, bought a 2 seater sofa on the agreement that they'd take away my existing one (2 months old). Rude guy arrived 3 days later and refused to take the existing sofa, dumped the one I bought in front of it and scarperred. Now left with no way of moving the old or new one, great way to treat a disabled person thanks for that.

Found nice jacket in there for 5 pound

Probably shouldn't tell anyone but I regularly find Meyer trousers in this store. They had a Mens 34/32 Meyer for £4 that were nearly new. These trousers originally cost £105. I also found some other Meyer trousers here in my size and some other trousers of excellent quality in great condition. I've regularly found good trousers and shirts here. They also stock a selection of bric a brac too; along with furniture. I've been visiting this store for many years and believe me it's one of the very best. Shakespeare Street has a few surprises.

I am physically disabled and the fire brigade said I had to get rid of this chair for safety purposes,so I could use my walker,so they came to pick it up for me.

Nice friendly people. We will donate more to them now we know that they have an off road area to take donations to.
