I only gave it a one as I could not give it a zero. Most disgusting food I have ever been served would have just left but both of us are diabetic and had to eat. Think oil crisis is being caused by Wetherspoons not the war in the Ukraine!

Cheap and cheerful, the food was good better than expected. It can get busy here, but the staff keep up with the service and cleaning. I always use the app now as it's so easy.

Dirty cutlery, blocked toilets, mushy food, about 7 chips presented to us which were stone cold , brown soggy lettuce in the burger, broken sharp knife, got told they didn’t have fish in stock which wasn’t an issue however didn’t offer a refund for the difference in meals and flat drinks. This place has had an immense downfall. The amount of negative reviews that have appeared lately speak for themselves. The staff couldn’t be bothered to refer any messages or complaints. Instead they began gossiping about us to a friend while we were still in the restaurant. Disappointing and deflating.

Lovely pub and restaurant. Evening meal just beautiful as was the large breakfast we had. Only criticism was the breakfast could have been warmer, but they were busy in all honesty.

Took way to long to ring out ordered drinks over when we ordered some food and drink on the app.Table a little sticky and food remains on the floor.Other than that, all fine.

Large double fronted Wetherspoons. I eventually walked out without ordering. Finding a clean table was difficult despite there being lots of tables crammed into the space. When I found one a small child at the next table was throwing things around, and in my direction. So I moved to another table. While ordering a man sat at the next table and started making snotty noises. So I looked to move again but couldn’t find a clean table, so I left.Prices and selection of food looked good - but I didn’t try any!Maybe I was unlucky - but based on this experience I won’t be back any time soon.

It is essential that any premises offering general hospitality (Drinking&Eating) has some form of heating on in the winter months. We visited The Willow Grove and bought drinks and food and sat down. There was no heating on so we ended up putting our outdoor coats on.In future we will not frequent The Willow Grove in the winter months unless there is heating on.We will look for somewhere that wants it's guests to be comfortable and warm when spending money on their premises. Absolutely perishing, we go here twice a week… won’t be going back anytime soon. Ridiculous that everyone was sat in coats, hats and scarfs

Absolutley awfull. Freezing cold. No heating. Chips soggy. Dirty filthy disabled toilet. Would never return here again. Staff said heating was broken according to staff. Never again.

There are some really good Wetherspoons pubs but sadly, this isn't one. It is in need of a refit as it's looking rather scruffy and worn. Also, there were tables piled up with dirty dishes and glasses but nobody we clearing them. A nice outdoor seating area though, but you'll have to clear a table yourself before you sit down.
Nice and cheap as always, lovely staff keeping the place nice and tidy........but tried the new steak and kidney pudding chips peas & gravy.....well disappointed a small portion of chips about 20 & the steak pudding was like cardboard underneath & there was 5 pieces of steak in it.....won't be getting another one.

I love a Weatherspoons and I usually go to this one every week or two. Over time though it has been going downhill. The food is still good for the money but many other aspects are letting it down. The portions have got smaller, less chips with the meals and if you request 12 onion rings you will get 9 or 10 and if you request 6 you will get 5. We really like the onion rings and order them most weeks and it has happened for at least the last five months. They are frequently understaffed meaning that when they are busy you can go upstairs and find dirty plates on every table that doesn’t have customers meaning we have to clear the table ourselves. The ladies toilets are in desperate need of improvement as two doors don’t lock and 5 have seats that need fixing. The staff there are great but they are overworked due to understaffing particularly on a Saturday and in the upstairs area.

Just because you have some young people eat at your place doesn't mean you can treat them with contempt. They are paying customers at the end of the day! My daughters and a few friends called in this evening and all ordered a meal. My daughter was brought two of the same meal and obviously told the male member of staff she'd only ordered one (she didn't get his name as he wasn't wearing a badge). He plonked the food down, rolled his eyes and said angrily "you'll have to eat it, I won't be taking it back". This is not how to speak to a paying customer, I don't care how old they are. She paid via the app and double the money was taken. She called me to ask what to do but I've told her we will sort it with the bank. I wish I'd asked her to get his name. He then brought another plate for my daughters friend and he told her the plate was hot (he held it with a towel) as he passed it to her in her hands, how strange! Yes it was too hot but thanks for not putting it on the table! I will be calling head office about this. The whole experience was humiliating for my daughter, she eats out quite a lot and knows how to speak respectfully to people. I know it's only a cheap place to eat but that doesn't mean the quality of customer service should be this bad. If your staff don't want to speak politely maybe they should be doing a job where they don't have to directly speak with paying customers.

Called in to have a meal with a friend and ended up staying a few hours on the excellent cask ales. Very reasonable and food is good, too.

Shout out for Owen (Kitchen Manager) Nothing to much trouble, exceptional service Very accommodating. A credit to the Wetherspoons chain....
