Took 2.5 hours for our food to be delivered. When we rang at 2 hours we were told it would be another 5 mins. We then rang back after another 25 mins passed but the phone had been disconnected. Such a shame as the food is really lovely. Our kids meal went to waste as they ended up going to bed, as the wait went on way past their bedtime.

We were there on a quiet night. I suspect the atnosphere would be better when busier. Food great, staff lovely.

Took friends here who were staying with us! We all loved the food and the service was great and loving the new chairs!! My only complaint would be that the toilets need a deep clean and freshen up!! Our friends noticed this snd said it let it down!! We will go back and hopefully see an improvement!!

Took my mum here for her 85th. She is reasonably fussy about what she eats but she enjoyed her soup starter and salmon main. I had a very good Sucuk (spicy sausage) starter (with lots of warm bread) and an excellent Karisik (lamb, chicken, minced lamb) with plenty of rice and salad. The waitress was very attentive and friendly.

We ordered food to collect, the service was fast, the food was hot and tasty. There was plenty of it and we thoroughly enjoyed all of it. Our meal consisted of the hot mezze, lamb chops and the skewered chicken, both accompanied with a decent portion of turkish rice, grilled veg, salad and some lovely bread. I would highly recommend.Vegetarian options: Vegetarian options were available.

I have ordered from here twice in the past week. The food came when it was supposed to, and the food was delicious, especially the bread. We will be ordering again from here in the future as the food is so tasty.

Lovely food however the delivery times are shocking ... waited over 2 hours for a delivery , not just a one off either .. such a shame as this is the last time I will be ordering due to this
I've visited here twice in the last few months, once with a group and the other time with the wife. Both occasions the food was on point. The kebabs are excellent, full of taste and very filling. The bread that comes with the hummus as a starter is excellent and the halloumi cheese is highly recommended. Efes on tap is an excellent pint.

4 of us arrived for our booked table at 6.30 pm. Waited until8.15 for one of the main meals to arrive. They were too busy dealing with take-away meals to serve the customers in the restaurant. Given one star as it looks like you can’t give zero.

Not worth the 2 hour 20 minute wait. Ordered at 5.20pm. Delivery expected between 6.40 and 7pm. Rocked up 7.40pm. Ton of rice, hardly any veg and an empty section in each container. Chips underdone. Chicken overdone. Nothing hot. 2 stars because staff were nice when we called twice (though was a bit 'just turning your corner now, love') and the hummus and bread were good. Won't go back

It's a pity you can't 'award' no star's as the service was atrocious. My Wife and I booked a table for 7:30 last night. The waiters were very young with one waiter wearing black tracksuit bottoms and regularly serving food with his thumb inside the bowl. My Wife's first drink was served 10 minutes after mine. We waited 55 minutes for the starter to be served. Each drink was taking 15 minutes to be served and we had to remind them that we had ordered each time. With no sign of our main course being served we left after one and a half hours. There didn't seem to be anybody in authority and no organisation. When we stated we were leaving all the staff just stood staring blankly. No apology, no explanation.... Nothing! Buying a takeaway from next door and eating it in our car would have been a far more enjoyable experience than dining at Amara.

We had in house recommendations.. can't visit, so thought we'd order online.Order was supposed to be delivered within an hour... then an hour and half.Then, after two hours, they just made it up. Girl on the phone kept hanging up."It was on its way""Driver didn't return for it""It'll be with you in 10 mins""Look outside your door"2+ hours later, we asked where it was, and if not here in 5 mins, we want a refund. The girls response... "well, you ordered by Just Eat... it's not easy to get a refund from them"The delivery finally turned up just after 9pm... more than 2 3/4 hours later than booked. The delivery guy said he turned up when needed.Who knows what went on. .. but REALLY safe to say, never ordering from here again.Food wasn't even worth mentioning. Main was cold, starters all thrown together in one box.We normally go with Ocean Wave... sorry we didn't tonight.
