Out of the things I went for, only had white bread and was out of meatball marinara, the lad behind the counter was helpful and did his utmost to sort our order to suit. Food was good but not what we'd planned, still these things happen, was at a handover I think....

We went to the one at New Brighton, I'm sorry to say the place was a disgrace, the bin was overflowing so runbish was on the floor. The staff were not very happy or helpful, would never go back.

We visited this shop yesterday at 1.30pm, bang in the lunchtime rush. The poor girl who was working, a lovely, friendly, very professional young girl called Ruby, was on her own in the shop and had been all day and woukd be until close of business. She had a queue of 20 plus people going from the counter to the door, and had to single handedly do every process of the sandwich making by herself, which obviously took a lot of time, so the queue didn't really go down at all as more people joined the end of the queue as she would finish each customer. It took us about 15 minutes of queuing to get to the front and we were very impressed with how calm and composed she was in the face of such a difficult working environment. I could see people behind us in the queue getting visibly restless and annoyed and really felt for Ruby as she worked there alone during the busiest time of day, as it was only a matter of time before one of the customers became angry at the very long wait for food, and inevitably took it out on her. I am utterly appalled at the disgraceful management of this shop. Having worked in food retail myself, I have never seen such a dereliction of management duty to their staff, and in turn to the customers of Subway. All it would have taken is to rota in one additional person and the waiting time would have been halved; the stress level for this poor young girl on minimum wage is just unacceptable. Shame on the owner for this, if it were my daughter working there under these conditions, I would be going in and having serious words with them. Disgraceful!!!! Side note: the sandwiches she made us were perfect. This review is not of the food we received but the unacceptable waiting times and terrible management of staff in this store. If I were still in the food business I would offer Ruby a job today, with a massive pay increase.

I went here on the 29th September at 1730 and on the door sign says it closes at 6 when i tried door was locked and lights off very disappointed in this can't understand why they have closing times and close early wasted.journey

Worst subway ever been..Need the menu like soggy Nachos , dodgy patty, fake and cheese and on and on.…....….....Terrible staff don't even knew how to pack.????

We walked in at 20 mins before closing. The guy serving explained it had been a quiet time so he had started the clean down process. We all had different orders so he had to unpack loads from the fridge. Not a problem. He was friendly, chatty and happy to serve us although he was probably thinking "I hate you with a passion!" Would visit again just to meet that lovely and very tolerant guy.

Gave 1 star because had to give it to leave a review. I have never seen a subway so dirty. Staff just about had a mask on. We had to tell him to change his gloves as he had just been moving boxes. He was not going to change them before serving us. A staff member picked drink stirrers up off the floor and put them back on the counter for people to use. We had to tell them to take olives off our food because apparently olives sounds like pickle. Would never go back again and advise everyone to avoid the worst Subway ever.

The person not wearing a mask, (should be) whistling away over your food. The meatballs all dried out. Puts cold bol sauce on a so call hot sandwich it was yuk waste of money
