Dropped in for a quick couple of beers on Christmas Day. Spectacularly good London Porter, in superb condition. Would be worth 5 stars if it were not nearly £5 per pint!

Just a quick half today. Cask ale is always well kept, but probably the most expensive in New Brighton. Have been here for food too in the past and this has always been good.

Only a small selection of real ales, but always very well kept

Not for real ale drinkers. Not enough choice. But it’s big enough, decent beer garden, good service.

Decent pub, with good outside space. Could do with a better selection of beers. Would like to see some craft IPAs, rather than mass produced lagers.

Lovely pub, atmosphere great, beer garden Lovely. Didn't have food so can't comment

Decent beer in one of Wallasey's finest pubs. Great beer garden too.**Update. Now sells coldflow stuff and next to nil real ale. One star deducted accordingly. Sad, because it used to be a fine pub.

Popped in for a pint after a long time away. A pint of London Pride hit the spot. Refurbished since my last visit, for the better definitely.

Staff are friendly, lovely atmosphere but ve prepared to remortgage if you want more than 2 lemonades. Very expensive, especially for the area.
