Its a local run down Spoons but the staff are really nice and the locals are happy. Food is quick and classic Wetherspoons. Pints are cold and plentiful, there's a little beer yard in the back and parking at the front. Coffee machine is usually working which can be unusual for a spoons. One of the more affordable places to drink in the area.

Had a chicken skinny burger with salad and my friend had chicken skinny burger with chips.The chicken was so tough and dry, couldn't believe how bad it was.Spoke to a member of staff which basically fell on deaf ears.The member of staff asked if I'd paid on card or cash (cash) and that was it . Nothing else said, no apologies, nothing.Would definitely not eat there again, and it wasn't exactly cheap either.

Our second attempt at having lunch there, didn't get any better.....few weeks ago we ordered food only to be told they didn't have the products in that ordered.....bar staff handed my partner a cloth to wipe down the table REALLY!!!! Was there today, waited ages for our food, when it arrived was wrong order....both our chips were well over cooked even the manager said the cooking oil needs replacing and he was embarressed with the food.We was refunded our money but still left there hungry.Won't ever go there again...not even for drinks, lots of tables left dirty not the bar staffs fault because they're run off their feet with it being busy.Shame really because mist Wethers are spot on.

One thing i can say is that it needs more staff, each time we have been in you always have to queue as there is only 1 possibly 2 members of staff on the bar. The time is tea time Fridays or Saturdays. But apart from that we've enjoyed our drink. X

Best coffee around and one can drink as many as one wants but I find that 7 cups is enough so usually have a couple of hot chocolates to finish off

My meal did not come with what was on the menu my steak came with chips and nothing else was not impressed would not go again service was terrible
Fish and chips late lunch good quality and excellent value, my husband's a real ale fan and he thoroughly enjoyed his ???? pints.

Went in for a coffee and some toast, looking for somewhere quiet.Found somewhere quiet. Lovely staff served very quickly and got what I wanted. Love going in around 09-30. Would recommend it.
