Delicious food, they make the sauces themselves, which are fab, especially the chilli jam. Chicken is succulent and has a great, crispy gf coating. Hot honey tenders are particularly good, and the corn fritters a gorgeous surprise, so tasty. Brilliant value, delicious drinks, and Holly is a fab waitress, highly recommend ☺️

Tried this restaurant as I was craving some Mexican food and did not disappoint. We ordered some chimichangas and enchiladas and the food was great. The service was also impressive as the staff kept checking on us and even went out of their way to say goodbye to us when we left ! Highly recommended and we will definitely be coming back ?

Ordered using the website and then collected. All very easy and the food was ready shortly after I arrived to pick it up. Pizza, fried chicken and fries all tasted great. The pizzas are of such a generous size that there was some left over for the following day. Will definitely be back.

The Bow Legged Beagle Upton: A Truly Cracking Spot for a Pint
Proper little gem, this place! The Bow Legged Beagle in Upton is just the ticket if you're after somewhere genuinely cosy with a cracking atmosphere. It's got that lovely, welcoming feel as soon as you walk in, making it super easy to relax and settle in.
For us real ale fans, it's a bit of a paradise. They've always got a constantly changing line-up of real ales on, which is brilliant because there's always something new to try. And the best part? The real ale is always really reasonably priced, which is a breath of fresh air these days!
And if craft beer is more your thing, you're still well looked after. They've got an extensive collection on tap, plus a fridge packed with cans and bottles. Whatever you fancy, chances are they've got it.
Service here is spot on too. The staff are genuinely friendly and really know their stuff when it comes to the beers they're serving. Happy to chat and give recommendations if you're not sure what to go for.
Honestly, if you're in Upton and fancy a top-notch pint in a relaxed and friendly setting, you really can't go wrong with The Bow Legged Beagle. Highly recommend!

Friendly welcome. Clean and tidy. Quick service. Usual prices for food. Order was taken efficiently and accurately (including modifications). Cheese in toast was good quality mature cheddar with nice flavour profile. Curly fries were piping hot and a good sized portion to share. Cappuccino was well presented with good froth and lots of chocolate powder. Toilets clean and large. Parking outside for free and car park around corner (currently free but who knows with Council).

A great place to get food and refreshments when you are on the coastal path in this area. They even have pupachinos which are made from dog biscuits and squirty cream. Popped in today after seeing the Instagram post about the new menu and had the French toast!! Honestly the nicest French toast Iv ever had. Staff were lovely and informative about what everything is. Also my husband is gluten free and had the Turkish eggs but had it adapted with gluten free toast the girls were laughing as He practically licked his plate clean. There are many gluten free things on their menu and when we asked about it apparently the owner is gluten free too. We didn’t have time for cake but will definitely be back soon to try. This is definitely our new spot to frequent from now on
