Always meant to try this place but never really had the opportunity before . Visiting with my brother I found the place very warm and welcoming . The woman behind the bar was friendly and chatty as was her replacement . This is a seriously good pub , with a very good choice of real ales . The Neck Oil was especially nice . I will definitely be back sooner rather than later . The locals must be so glad that this place has kept going over the years . Keep up the good work !

Lovely little pub that only the locals know where it is, but it's worth finding. Usually a nice selection of real ales and beers. Open fire is welcome in the winter and plenty of outdoor seating in the Summer.

The Plasters is defiantly on the up, the new landlord has definitely turned things around.Gone is the drinking den atmosphere, and it now has a much more everyone's welcome vibe. It's a pleasure to stop for a drink there again. And I'm sure it'll be a 5 ? place once the kitchen has been sorted out.

Sat outside on a balmy afternoon. Staff were friendly and helpful and drinks were reasonable. A very old pub with, no doubt, a fascinating history, sandwiched between Hoylake's glorious promenade and the High St.

Best pub in Hoylake by a country mile. A good locals pub. Friendly owner, staff and regulars.
Went for a swift pint. The place was buzzing. Great local!

Great wee pub just off the main street. We went Friday and Saturday night. Live music was on both nights. It was so friendly and enjoyed a good time with all the locals. Bar staff were really lovely.

Friendly locals pub, sometimes has live music and even Morris Dancing on the quiet road outside.Great to sit in the sunshine ?

Great locals pub with excellent real ales. But £4.50 a pint is steep. And £2.50 a half is a rip off quite frankly.
