Just happened to call into here while waiting to collect my car from the garage. My sister and I had a little lunch of jacket potato and corned beef hash. Absolutely loved it. Well done everyone there. ( And one member of staff even knows her times tables ?)

Walked here from Arrowe park today with the lads for lunch. This is one of my favourite pubs in the Wirral. Had my birthday party in the marquee recently and we normally have our Xmas party here every year. I think its success is because it's very good value as they currently do a two course lunch for less than £11. I had the Brussels pate for starters and the sweet chilli beef for the main meal. You normally have to book in advance though to get a table.

First time visiting this very popular pub. Very nice décor with comfortable seating. Staff were very nice and helpful. The main menu consists mainly of wholesome popular meals and burgers. Two courses for £10.99 is very good value. Will certainly be returning in the near future.

Great food great prices had a bit of a wait for the food but when it arrived yum yum recommend the carbonara tasted homemade yesterday tried the afternoon tea very nice very good value at less than 10pounds per head thanks
