It has that proper café feel, warm and welcoming, with the smell of bacon and fresh coffee drifting through the air as soon as you step inside.
The coffee was spot on, strong enough to wake us up but smooth enough to enjoy without pulling faces. Breakfast was just what you want from a local café – hearty, well cooked and served with a smile. No pretension, no tiny portions balanced on slate, just good honest food that leaves you happy and full.
Friendly staff, relaxed atmosphere and decent prices make The Rainbow Café a solid choice in Stalham. If you want a proper breakfast and a good brew, this is the place to go.

Vera's Coffee Shop
Wayford Nurseries, StalhamI met friends here for breakfast on a visit to Norfolk and it was superb. I had the fried breakfast and all the ingredients were high quality and delicious. The iced coffee was amazing! My friend had a piece of cake - the choice was incredible and they all looked irresistible, I'm sorry I didn't have room for a piece after the breakfast! Definitely recommend a visit if you're in the area. Great friendly service and a lovely environment too, we were indoors but outside looked perfect for a sunny day.
