Really lovely pub. Not a posh pub but it had everything we needed and wanted. Called in for a pint each on the afternoon and we decided to go back for an evening meal having seen the delicious menu specials board. Friendly, welcoming staff. Great portions of food, good value for money. We can recommend the Chinese style belly pork, chips and beans. Absolutely yummy. Proper pub food, not fancy rubbish. Our dogs were welcome too. Oh and there was a beautiful real fire on, lovely and warm. We will definitely be returning.
