Great. Food. Great ambience. Ideal for special occasions. Very reasonable prices. We go for family birthday get together every February. It is a great effort for me to get there sadly. Otherwise would go more often 100%

Staff, service, food and “ambience” were very good, particularly the food. We ate on a very wet and chilly night and were seated near a door to the swimming pool, there was a slight, cool draught at times and the occasional waft of chlorine. But it didn’t spoil the food which was extremely good in quality and portion size, and reasonably priced. We must admit we had booked the restaurant expecting a bit of a chain/mass produced experience with it being on a country club but it was really good, would definitely go again.

We always enjoy our food at the Amber Bar Restaurant. It's one of the few places that on their "Special's board" I can sometimes find a heartwarming favourite of mine, lambs liver and bacon served on a creamy mashed potato bed, with sauted onion, gravy and a dish of al-dente veg. My plate was completely clean when I finished.Other food is of course available and was eaten by friends dining with me. That's just one of my favourites done so well by Andy

We had the crab cakes and camembert for starter which was lovely then we had the crab, prawn and spinach linguine which was so nice and full of crab! Wine was on the expensive side unfortunately. The waitress was very good. Only downside maybe was that there wasn't much atmosphere in the restaurant ...

We visited here twice on our recent stay in Cromer the food is delicious and staff are lovely and friendly. We tried different things on the menu and loved everything we had. Nice big portions too!

The food was very average, pizzas were good but the burger was not worth the money and the seafood linguine was terrible at best and had no crab in it, the waitresses forgot our orders and didn’t take a drinks order. We ordered a coke and it was flat, they were unable to change the gas so offered us a bottle drink in return. The wait for food was what felt like decades, sat in a very quiet, boring restaurant. All in all I would not recommend eating here, the prices are extremely high for very poor food drinks and services. ? (if you come here make sure you bring good company, games to pass the time, and your own pack lunch and drinks)

Over 10 of us went to the Amber Bar for dinner whilst on holiday visiting Cromer. Great food! Good portions! Very friendly service! Nothing more needs to be said! All empty plates going back at the end which always says a lot! Will definitely be returning when I next visit Cromer.

Didn't quite know what to expect, but was very pleased that we went. Nice range of food. Specials board available too. Subtle music. Staff were lovely, helpful, friendly and pleasant. Lovely relaxed atmosphere. Food was very well presented, portion sizes spot on., tasted absolutely delicious. Would most definitely be visiting again. If you're ever in the area or just want to go somewhere new, you wont go wrong dining here.
We tried to book in advance but couldn't get through as the phones were down. We turn turned up when they opened and it felt like we had inconvenienced them. After this though everything was great. Food has been lovely both times we visited and the kids options are good too

We stayed last weekend for 2 nights and tried the restaurant on first night. Very good portions and lovely staff, unfortunately the pizza was tasteless, frozen ones from Aldi have better taste and the lasagna had similar issues. Although it looked beautiful and large portion, I had to add seasoning 3 times and chips were undercooked. Shame as the restaurant is well decorated and the waitresses were pleasant. I would give it another chance if we return and try a different dish.

Absolutely the best alternative meat roast I have EVER had. Incredibly delicious Cannot recommend this enough. Have tried every nut roast, etc, known to man but this beat everything by a mile. So elated to find a gorgeous alternative to a meat roast. Will be back again and again. Lovely staff and also very good value.
