Had a really lovely meal at Gibson’s in Croma. The pork Sunday roast was spot on — super tender with proper crispy crackling, and just really comforting all round.

Finished with the sticky toffee pudding which was unreal — rich, soft, and exactly what you want after a roast.

Really friendly service too. Will definitely be back.

The Village Inn

What a great find. Booked a table here for 6 at 1pm. We had a separate little area in the main bar area which was lovely. Service was quick and staff very friendly. Drinks for all obviously, food was exceptional. Chicken burger, pie of the day, fish finger sandwich and fish pie. All of us had coffees. Total bill, just over£20 a head. Great value ?

The New Inn Roughton

Called without a reservation on a Wednesday evening. The friendly staff, I think they were the management welcomed us and were helpful over my wife's need for gluten free. Her daily roast was excellent as was my sausage and mash in a large Yorkshire pudding. The jam sponge and custard was a great end to the meal (for me, GF could not have it).

Family Kebab House

Had another great visit. I ordered a 12 inch seafood pizza, my wife had a large doner, and the kids enjoyed their chicken kebab, beef burger, and chips. Everything was tasty, well cooked, and expected portion size.

We’ve been coming here as a family for years, and it’s honestly the best kebab house we’ve found in Norfolk. We’ve tried other places, but nothing compares we always end up travelling back to Stalham. Ordering ahead and collecting is super convenient too.

Perfect spot for families, whether eating in or grabbing a takeaway.

Masala Twist

Ok you need to read this ! Firstly this is a different restaurant to the old Masala Twist. I liked the old one but this is great ! It’s much smaller but a lovely fit out and a really imaginative smaller menu (all the classics available still !) which made a lovely change. It’s BYO in the drink front with no corkage so incredibly affordable. Get down there now and support and enjoy !!

Lukewarm greeting but things did warm up eventually. And to get a foot long sandwich packed with ingredients, a bag of crisps, and bottle of drink for only £9.89 these days isn't to be sniffed at. Good free parking right outside (shared with Lidl).

Popped in here mid afternoon to grab some pizza to take down to the beach. Friendly staff, the guy even let me place my order first whilst I nipped to the cash machine as they don't take card! Delicious food, would highly recommend their square pizzas.

I had to review as this has been the best Macdonald's we have ever been to. All the food was cooked fresh and perfectly, burger, fillet of fish and fries and all the order was correct. We have had a lot of awful Macdonald's from the Norwich branches, dry burgers and old fries, mistakes with the order on many times so this was a pleasant surprise so please keep it up as we'll be coming back. Thank you

We were lucky to try belly's cromer crab curry and I could eat that every day ? the atmosphere was perfect, and staff super attentive and friendly! I have had a lovely evening here and made a few friends. I tried another bar nearer to the pier, who refused to let me charge my laptop. They lost out on 3 pints of Guinness - at least at a cost of £6.60/pint. Lost revenue = £19.80
I had a lovely welcome here from Tina who met me with smiles and showed me to 4 places to charge my laptop and in addition 4 usb's for my phone if I had needed them! The selection of drinks is excellent and each pint of Guinness was 80p less than the 'other' place. The toilets like the rest of the place are very clean and I would strongly recommend that you make The Albion your pub of choice if you visit Cromer. The landlady, Zena, has got customer service off to a T.

I shan’t leave it so long next time, the service was excellent and the food was ready quickly even though it was busy. Would recommend the dumplings and any dish with king prawns!

We had a fabulous breakfast on a blustery chilly Sunday on the coast. It started well when 3 of us entered and there was only a table for two but a couple swooped with us which was very kind. Great coffee and a very varied menu saw a veggie breakfast, a breakfast muffin and tofu and avocado on toast all get polished up. Nice staff. Quite small so maybe reserve a table to avoid disappointment

Had a wonderful nights sleep here - no noise at all from the bar downstairs.
Very impressed with the quality of the rooms .
I foolishly left my bag with bank cards , diary and personal papers in the wardrobe and Beth , the manager drove an hour away to return it to me in person . She’s a star !!! A lovely young lady as was all the staff we met , thank you ?

An amazing selection of baked goods. There is so much to choose from. I had a pork pie and a pastie. They looked a bit pale because they don’t use a glaze on their pastry which I liked because sometimes it makes the pastry sticky. Pastie was nice with big chunks of beef. They don’t put jelly in the pork pies which disappointed me a bit, but some people don’t like it. Still a nice pie though.

The Bucket List

These are the BEST loaded fries you can get! I have had these several times over the years with various toppings and they never disappoint. Why these loaded fries stand out way more than others is because they are not skimpy with the sauce! They are plentiful with the sauce and toppings meaning that you don't get halfway down the bucket and all you have is dry fries. There is nothing worse in my opinion than having loaded fries and barely any sauce, even though this seems a common occurrence in most businesses, and I don't even know why because it's not like sauce costs a lot. These fries are always fresh and crispy, and the flavours on the top are very tasty. They are also very kind in reducing the price for me when I didn't have the mozzarella cheese wedge on one of the buckets as I don't like cheese. I didn't ask for the price to be reduced as I didn't think anywhere would do this, so when they did this without any prompting I was pleasantly surprised and appreciated it very much, that is what I call excellent customer service! I love Bucket List.

We had a lovely experience today. The owner was very nice and helpful. We ordered 2x sausage, mash and gravy, 1x chicken nuggets and chips and 1x sausage and chips plus 4 juices. My son didnt want an egg with his sausage and chips so the owner gave him an extra sausage. We ate inside but there is a lovely area outside to eat. I would highly recommend.

Kid-friendliness: My kids are 9 and 15 but didnt use the kids menu.

Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs its all ramp from the pavement

Delicious gelato! The nice man who owns/runs the cabin also makes the ice-cream daily with different flavours each day.... it's probably the best ice-cream I've eaten in this country! Day 1 of our visit, I had the Dubai chocolate pistachio and my husband had peanut butter! ???. Day 2 of our stay in Cromer, I had the most refreshing passion fruit and yogurt ice-cream and my husband thoroughly enjoyed the salted caramel. If only we were staying longer!

Have lived in Cromer for many years, but only visited a couple of times. However it's now one of my favourite places to go for a morning coffee/catch up with my bestie.
The staff are very friendly and warm.
They serve very good coffee at affordable prices. Also you can have milk alternatives.
The food is also very good. My friend had the vegetarian sausage roll and I had a cheese scone. They didn't last very long ?
The cafe is clean and bright, with inside and outside seating. They also allow dogs and they can easily accommodate for wheelchairs and prams.
