Visited Christmas ? day and what a lovely welcome. Sherry & Port on the bar on the house and mincepies. It was busy with families and a nice log fire. Really enjoyed the visit.

Love this pub, local place filled will sports groups, locals and friends but fast service and a good chat. Never had a bad time here. Always went for the garden in the summer for the secret garden but went lately since the skies turned dark to try the inside a bit and a great atmosphere. The bar-staff rock and you never feel out of place.

Was staying nearby as our friends were playing at the Halloween party, the bar staff worked very hard, the place was packed but you didn't have to wait very long to get served. There was a free buffet, it was fantastic, the quality and standard of the buffet was excellent, they appeared to cater for all tastes. But I felt the greed of some people was very bad, they almost needed a 'fork lift' to help them carry their plate out, then the food wasn't all eaten and wasted, I saw people returning for more with a lot of waste on their plate, there was no need because there was definitely plenty of food. All this is not the fault of the staff, who were excellent, the atmosphere was good and people were enjoying the band and evening

WELL !!! I would like to tell you not to go as its not good BUT unfortunately I can't, this place is the hub of Runton, staff are hard working, friendly, customers, are friendly, drinks are a reasonable price and then we come to the Sunday lunch, the lunch was probably one of the best I have eaten in many a year, this is from a person who does not really like roast and will do anything to avoid it, but this roast was exceptional, hot, very hot, meat tender, vegetables plenty, service excellent, then we come to the sweet, very basic, Spotted Dick, Sticky Toffee pudding, need I say more, I had Sticky Toffee, with ice cream, you don't get one scoop you get 2. On a Sunday they had live music, playing modern music that everyone knew and sang along to dancing, the place was alive. This is a very traditional pub, no airs and graces, but fantastic. I would recommend booking if you want Sunday lunch, probably a week in advance, they appear to only have one sitting, which is staggered, thus producing the good service and excellent food

Visited this pub on Sunday for the Sunday lunch. Table of four and our small dog. Two had roast beef, one roast lamb and one vegetarian sheperds pie. Absolutely delicious food, plentiful portions, main, roast potato, yorkshire and swede, seperate veg bowl of cabbage, peas, carrots and broccoli. More than enough for a fabulous lunch. Finished with four puddings. Good selection of beer. Fabulous Sunday lunch.

We’ve visited before during our holiday’s in the past, and nothing has changed, thank god. Great pub, excellent service, good beers and a wonderful shrub garden to sit in. We have another week in East Runton in July so look forward to visiting most days. Well done..

The best pub in Norfolk, and possibly the western hemisphere. Food, 11/10, drinks 14/10, and Sunday afternoon and live band 27/10. A must. Thanks for a great Sunday. Love ya bye xx
