Food delivery arrived late and cold. I have never had tinned peas and sweetcorn in a vegetable Madras before, disgusting! Very poor food.....

A spur of the moment choice but we are so pleased we did. The staff served us with very tasty dishes which they helped us choose. As it was early evening there were not a lot of customers so we could see how clean and tidy everything was.

Rocked up starving at 8pm Friday night in mid October having been let down on a booking at another local eatery (not Indian). Only needed a table for 2 and was quickly shown to a table next to the bar area. Place was less than half full, perfect. Staff were friendly & attentive and quickly had 2 beers and starters. Main course soon followed which was lovely. Only gripe I'd have was then Naan bread was half the size I'm used too, although delicious and they stated only took cash or cheque (although witnessed others paying by card?!) All in all very happy with our experience.

Only one word for it - superb - both the food and the service. Well-priced and comprehensive menu....and they serve Cobra beer.

Fantastic great quality meal with lovely pints to boot. Restaurant wasn’t busy on an October Sunday night so managed to get a table no bother. Had poppadoms and pickles, two mains, peshwari naan, rice and three pints for £50 which I would consider to be great value. Everything was very tasty and well cooked and of a decent portion. From the moment we stepped in we had fantastic service with very attentive and kind staff - really couldn’t ask for more. Toilets were also wonderfully clean. Other reviews mention that decor is dated which I suppose is true, while a lick of paint and a redecorate wouldn’t go amiss, this definitely doesn’t detract from the meal. Cobra on tap was excellent. Would highly recommend!

Looking for somewhere to eat last night on our first night of holiday and came across this place. It may need a luck if paint but was clean, as were the loo”s. Food really good, hubby had a speciality hut curry, said was really good and I had a very good chicken rogan josh. Shared a paratha that had sliced potato in it, very nice, Bombay potato’s, onion bhajis that weren’t greasy and a really good mushroom rice. The bill was difficult to read, but we had an idea if cost and it met that. Only takes cash and cheques which is very unusual today, but so good we are going back before we head home next weekend .

If you are use to having your curry made with a jar sauce from the supermarket and enjoy it....dont bother with this restaurant. The Cromer Tandoori is by far the most authentic tasty Indian food we have eaten anywhere in the UK. We had several dishes...the simple chicken balti through to lamb dansi and the flavours were sublime. The mushroom rice actually had mushrooms too!! The service was provided by a very lovely man called Sali (apologies if I spelt his name wrong). He was very humble and attentive. Many review comments concentrate on the decor of the restaurant and, yes we would agree to a point that it is somewhat dated, however ...if you want a delicious Indian meal with friendly customer service at a reasonable price, please please look past this. We will definitely be going again, next time we are in the area

Average at best, poor description on menu, dishes under seasoned & bill incorrect when provided. Poor & unsatisfactory. cash only! Menu ingredients incorrect, for food allergies. Save your money and go elsewhere
