Couldn't fault anything here. Friendly and helpful staff who went out of their way to combine dishes from the menu for us. Really big salad bowl, so tasty, with light but delicious dressing. Excellent homemade hummous with sesame seeds. Really good chips. Delicious butternut soup. Generous portions, very good food, reasonable prices, dog friendly, and a lovely view.

It is above the lifeboat museum with great views of the beach inside or out on the balcony as its on the second floor. Coffee was good and hot and full of flavour and the food was freshly made and tasty also.

Very impressed. Visited on a Saturday morning. Four adults and two children. No children’s breakfast menu but we asked the young man at the till if they would do beans on toast for our four yr old. “Of course, no problem “ was the reply. Although I’m not vegan, I did have the vegan breakfast of hummus on toast with mushrooms and cherry tomatoes. It was really tasty. My husband had smoked mackerel with poached egg on toast which he thoroughly enjoyed. The others opted for more traditional breakfast. Although prices are higher end, the food was lovely fresh produce, excellent quality and piping hot. Worth the extra for that, the view and the excellent service. Couldn’t fault our breakfast and nice to have some different choices. I very rarely give five stars but the Rocket Cafe deserved them.

Holidaying in the area, we chose the cafe for lunch on the strength of its Tripadvisor reviews. And they certainly didn't let us down. Google Maps was actually going to take us elsewhere, so future guests need to take care about that: it is above the RNLI museum and you will need to walk down to it from the shopping streets. Once inside the building, you can either use the steps or the lift, and then you have the choice of either sitting inside or out on the balconies. The whole place was buzzing, the menu was well-priced, the food was lovely and arrived quickly, and you could sit with your dog anywhere. Thank you to all staff concerned, and we are sure to return.

Loved our breakfast! Stopped by on an autumnal Monday morning and we enjoyed a variety of the dishes amongst our family. We were lucky enough to have great views of the surfers and the pier from our table. Friendly staff, very dog friendly

As a mobility scooter user being able to access all levels of the building using a lift that has a glass atrium at the top is a plus . The food did not disappoint with everything being freshly prepared and served promptly . Crab sandwich is a must in Cromer , served on fresh granary bread was excellent , the others chose a variety of food and each was well received and tasty . Casual dining with a pooch in tow isn’t easy but this place is worth a visit .

Called in for breakfast while visiting last week. Liked the nautical decor inside and view (sat inside) thro' a 'porthole'. Food and coffees were great, good produce, with prompt and friendly service

We struggled to find the cafe which is at the top of the RNLI building. Great location overlooking the sea and Cromer Pier. We had a table on the balcony which is a lovely spot. We both had ham and cheese baguettes with chutney. Very nice served with a small salad and a few chips. It just hit the spot. Would recommend especially in good weather when you can sit outside.
I'm old enough to remember the old Rocket House Cafe (a hut on the beach basically) and have visited the new RHC as many times as possible. The staff are super speedy and can turn a decent double espresso (which is hard to do). They also make arguably, Norfolks BEST poached eggs on toast - even Gluten Free. Service:- we keep forgetting when breakfast ends and often turn up late, but (is it the owner or the chef ?_ always seems to find a way to sneak in my wifes special request of GF poached eggs on toast with crispy bacon. They are excellent folks and... the Wifi is decent too. Keep it up Rocket House.

Whenever we visit Cromer we try and visit The Rocket. The food is consistently good and varied. Our visit this time was great. The chicken wrap was delicious and had an interesting filling. Followed by coffee and a slice of excellent carrot cake. I can’t recommend the Rocket highly enough.

The cafe on first impressions looks nothing special but the food was tasty, good value for money and the staff were very friendly and professional. We ordered pork bap, chips, salad & coleslaw, everything was delicious. 10/10
