Interesting place, specialising in Lobster and Crab. Have been 4 times in 4 years; it's now becoming overpriced and a victim of its own success.

We have been out today for Mother’s Day lunch, the food was great local produce prepared to a very high standard as before, “Mackerel pate was lovely and the fish pie was packed full of fish and prawns. The seafood curry was delicious , crab linguine was made with a whole crab, the avocado and crab starter was superb. The staff were very good “ helpful and friendly “ and could not fault the service. Would highly recommend a visit we will definitely going back.

Decent food, but should be so much better at the prices. Lacks any evening atmosphere, maybe better during the

The best sea food meal we have had. Family celebrating an 80th birthday. We had the sea food platter plus some sides to make up between three. Crab salad, Half Lobster and Chicken Burger and crevettes. All was so fresh and tasty. The Garlic bread was to die for. Not much conversation during the meal as we were all tucking in to the food. The service was very friendly and helpful with enough staff to service what is a very busy restaurant. Although pricy you are paying for the freshness of the sea food and it was worth every penny. We are planning to return in the summer and sit out side to appreciate the views.

A lovely atmosphere, decor & style. The staff were so friendly, knowledgable and were more than willing to help and accommodate any requests. The food was just wonderful, tasty, delicate and very well presented, also very reasonably priced for the exceptional quality and portion size. All in all we had an amazing evening and will certainly be returning.

Beautiful location, qwerty decor and really friendly staff. It was a Friday early evening and we had booked. - quite a few things on menu not available. Food was very nicely presented, but hate to say it, extremely overpriced for what was served. And with a 10% ‘optional’ service charge already added at the till! We left a little disappointed.

Food is excellent, really good menu for adults and kids, fresh and beautifully cooked. Not cheap, but you will not be disappointed. Equally good was the service, extremely polite and went out of their way to accommodate us as the online booking hadn't registered us on the system but they sorted it without fuss. But....it felt like a Novotel breakfast area at 6am. Overly bright, HIDEOUS lighting from coming mounted downlights. I'm struggling to remember a restaurant I've been anywhere in the world that has got the ambience so wrong. I can see why it's closed Nov to March, because nobody would want to sit in that environment in the evening. Fix that and it's definitely 5 stars. Can't wait to go back, but it will be outdoor seating for us next time.

Wonderful! Delicious and local food. Great staff - what a wonderful spot. Prawn were yummy but the garlic bread was incredible!

Recommended Lunch venue & it didn’t disappoint. Delicious fresh, locally sourced produce served by nice staff. Rustic surroundings. I had Lobster & it was mouth watering & almost beating it was the sumptuous Creme Brûlée, in house made, which was as good as any I’d consumed in France! It’s a little more expensive but we’ll worth the visit.

Was disappointed after all the hype on the tv. Good service but the crab chowder had little taste. My husband had the mussels which were tiny and not the best he had tasted

Absolutely amazing. Advise to book. We turned up, got a seat just inside the door. Food was excellent. Staff were brilliant. Highly recommend. What a gem of a place.Parking: Loads of space, on gravel/grass, with disabled parking allocated nearer to the building.

We came here for lunch to enjoy the last of the British summer. The atmosphere is amazing, the views are great - especially if you take a short stroll to the cliffs. It was fully booked, and seems to be most days, so call ahead to reserve a spot. We had the seafood platter and it was more than enough for 2 people for lunch. The food was fresh and well cooked. Will definitely be back!
