Sadly every time I have been into the North Walsham bakery I have found the service disappointing because you are not made to feel particularly welcome. My husband went in the other day, he tried to chat to the lady behind the counter about the cakes and was surprised to have been snapped at to hurry up and order! Whilst the bread and cakes are very good we will not be returning. I wouldn’t normally leave such a negative view online but I think they really should consider their customer service and the impact of this on customers.

Real shame on such bad customer service. I entered the dog friendly bakery with my newborn and dog. Ordered two cakes and some bread. As we were paying one of the workers came in and gave incredibly dirty look and told me to move my pram so she could get in. There was room to pass and I was happy to move it, no need for rudeness. As we left my dog found an old cake on the floor under the shelf and began to eat it. We pulled her away as we saw and the lady shouted ‘what is your dog eating’ I replied ‘sorry think we dropped our rolls. She then shouted ‘well don’t let your dog eat in our bakery’ we then realised it was a raisin bun (which we certainly wouldn’t allow her to eat) and said ‘well sorry but she found it in the floor under your shelve’ then we were shouted at to get out. It was an accident that our dog found something on the floor and she was incredibly rude about the whole thing. We won’t be going back. Shame as I use this bakery often and spend a decent amount of money in there.

I visited the north walsham bakery and as soon as I opened the door a lady snapped, 'Can you shut the door, we don't want flies'. She didn't even give me the chance to step in. Atmosphere was tense and the two women didn't smile, say hi, bye or thank you and seemed aggrieved at having to serve a customer. Such a shame as the cinnamon swirl was pleasant, but I felt so awkward and uncomfortable I won't be going back.

While I really like your bread and other products I have found shopping in your shops in Cromer and North Walsham very disappointing!! I went into your Cromer shop this morning and the only person serving was chatting to a previous customer for so long we walked out as did the person behind us and the people waiting at the door. I haven't been in your North Walsham shop for a long time as they are so unwelcoming. The young people you have at the weekend are much better representatives for youSorry but I thought you should know.

A must visit if going to Cromer. Visit every time we go. The cakes are amazing and the staff are always welcoming and friendly.

I absolutely love the food from here. The cheese scones are the best ever as is the giant Danish swirls.I would of given 5 stars but my usual treat of the garlic and herb tear and share was rubbish this time. I would give it one star at most. Very disappointed and couldn't even taste any garlic. Just tasted like bread only. I'm hoping it is a one off and you just forgot to add the garlic. Was also very dry. Not the usual moist lush bread I've had before. Please tell me it was a one off..?

Good value bakery goods that are delicious would recommend the brownies and cinnamon bun should of taken pictures but we're gone before I could think about it. On top of this the tiger loaf was a great freshly made bread. Worth dropping by.
