Stopped at the pub when travelling from Cromer to Cambridge without having any idea as what type of food was on offer. Very pleasantly surprised to find good pub grub served by a very enthusisatic and capable member of staff. The food was hot, excellent taste and not too expensive. Certainly a place to stop at if in the area. The signage outside the building could be made more eye-catching but certainly worth a visit.

Lovely pub, well situated! Good size carpark with a lovely big beer garden which in the sunshine would be great! The food was very good with a good choice available! Good value with great service...

Called in for Sunday Lunch. I had the roast lamb which came with 6 different veg, roast and mash potatoes. My other half had chicken and leek pie with chips and 4 types of veg. Great food, friendly service. Reasonable prices. Would definitely go again.

Went to Sunday Roast the food was hot and had the lamb which was very fatty and thin cuts. Vegetables were good and hot. Just don’t get the lamb!! The beer was good. The atmosphere was a little run down and the dusty fake flowers need to go.

My wife and I along with her cousins had a very nice meal this evening. The roast dinners were ample and the quality was very good. When the bill came it was excellent value for money. The young lady who attended us was very friendly and helpful. We will definitely revisit the New Inn next time we are in the area.

My recent dining experience was truly disappointing. The food was abysmal, lacking any flavour and made me feel sick. The service was equally dreadful; the staff were not only rude but also slow and lazy, making us feel unwelcome. To top it off, there was an unpleasant odor in the restaurant, which further diminished the already dismal atmosphere. I would strongly advise against dining here, as this establishment fails in both food quality and customer service. Save your time and money, and choose a different place to enjoy a satisfying meal with respectful service.

Food was served on a dirty plate and waitress wiped her nose when serving our desert. This was pointed out in a polite manner to who I though was the manager and his reply was along the lines of “well you’ve eaten the food now so you’ll have to pay for it.” I would say to avoid this place unless you are starving, desperate or stupid.

Excellent food, we went early evening so restaurant was quiet therefore quick and pleasant service.Prices not to expensive, good parking, good access for wheelchairs.

Staff were lovely, food was standard pub fayre. Having GB news on and having to listen to it ruined a potentially good pub visit

I had lasagne and husband had mixed meat roast followed by rhubarb crumble and cheesecake. Food was excellent, piping hot and staff are always helpful and cheery.Kid-friendliness: I know they are child friendly. Dogs are allowed in the bar but not sure about restaurant.

One of the best breakfasts we have had. Lots of toast too!! Man who serves you is grumpy but there is a sign above the bar warning you (a grumpy man and a lovely lady live here). Would definitely return
