One of the best dessert places that Norfolk can offer! Been to many, but this place is great. Takeaway desserts never really are great, but Kream Jar manage to keep everything warm as it should be!

We waited over 2 hours for a taste of what we thought would be "heaven". It was delicious however we only received 6/7 of the items.Once the items were counted, we stared at each other to see who wasn't going to receive their shot of sugar for the evening. In the blink of an eye the vibrations got nasty.6/10 because of the mix up.

Both online and on the door it says it opens at 4. Got there at about 4, tried the door and it was locked, a lady was stood next to the door and didn’t say anything. I waited outside a bit longer and they finally opened the door at about 4:15. I went in there after a few minutes, started looking at the menu and after about 5-10 minutes she shouted over they didn’t open till 5. The lady who saw me trying the door and waiting outside in the sun for almost 20 minutes, and then saw me come inside and look at the menu for 5-10 minutes then finally told me they didn’t open till 5? They have also changed the inside and there are no longer tables so it is take away only, and it’s a very dirty looking place. I definitely won’t be returning, that’s for sure!

Kream Jar - Dereham Wow!!!! AVOID!! We got excited to visit this store after looking at the lovely pictures and reviews online. They show people sitting at tables enjoying their waffles and milkshakes inside a restaurant area in a colourful bright space. We’d driven for 2.5hrs to get here only to be confronted with something completely opposite to that advertised!! It’s a dark poky little space with absolutely NO room to even swing a cat, there’s barely enough room for 2 people to wait for their order. It’s dark and dingy with equipment and empty cardboard packing boxes piled high on every surface. It’s obvious from those online photos that this place MAY once have been just a dessert shop with a small restaurant area with tables and chairs to eat inside - which is what we thought we were going to, but that space is now filled with more equipment to run a hot food take-away shop too. There is nowhere to eat inside at all!!! They say to take a seat while they make the waffles, but OMG once they start cooking fries and other cooked food, you can barely breathe from the smoke. We had to wait outside! We only ordered 3 waffles and waited 35 MINUTES for them! My husband waited inside and after about 20mins noticed that they were putting some in the bin, but they didn’t explain what was happening or why we were waiting SO long!! So they only appear to have ONE waffle maker and that was playing up! All I can say is that the £22 waffles were not worth the 35min wait!!

I have been driving past this place nearly every day for the past few months, and I finally got the chance to try the ice cream out. The staff were friendly and professional, the interior was clean and well decorated. The ice cream itself, however, was a huge let down. We ordered 4 different flavours and only 1 person enjoyed the taste of theirs. The rest were either tasteless or just strange. Can't comment on other menu items (Waffles, crepes etc.)Unfortunately I think its just a case of poor quality icecream.

The food is always absolutely amazing (waffles & crepes, can’t say about anything else) and we get it every weekend! However, this evening I did find a hair in my ice cream so perhaps hairnets would be useful as we noticed they weren’t wearing any.
