It's OK for takeawayl. Food good, but a large fish came in as medium, with large chips quite small portion. The prices are good, but I would rather pay slightly more for true size portions, as the value is missing. There are better fish bars in Dereham.

Fresh and delicious ?The best fish and chips in Dereham.Friendly service.It’s a shame it’s not on the high street as it must miss out on the business going elsewhere.Loads of dining space, too!

Was the best now must rank as the worst let’s start the order was cocked From the start yet it was only two bits of fish ordered the skinless cod was not only skinless but fishless and how possible I don’t know undercooked and as so small it could have hidden under 4-5 chips The rock salmon was the other extreme so overdone the batter was rock hard and tasteless . The girl serving left a lady waiting to take a mobile phone call and whilst serving my chips started a discussion with a lady who take it the boss. What a shame my advice don’t waste you money try the fish and chip pie near toftwood club

We visited today with my partner and friends, we I had been there before 2 years ago and the food was good then. First of all the tables were dirty which wasn't a good start, a staff member wiped the one we were on reluctantly but was still dirty. Then our meals came we couldn't believe our eyes!! The fish and chips had been reheated and looked and tasted awful, we couldn't attempt to eat it. We complained and got a partial refund. A shocking experience!!

We had food from there which was terrible, Had a piece of chicken which was inedible, it was so dry you couldnt even bite into it. Sorry but what a waste of time and money.

No plaice or other customers in a chippy on a Friday night should have rung alarm bells. Instead we foolishly ordered three cod and one haddock with chips. When we got it home It was dreadful, the worst fish and chips I have ever had. We could not determine which was the haddock unless it was the completely dried out piece. All the fish was old and dry. I can only assume the business has changed hands as we have used this place several times in the past, and the quality was reasonable, though they made mistakes with our telephone orders on more than one occasion even then. I will never use this place again, and would advise anyone else to avoid it like the plague.
