Great little pub, excellent food, probably the best in town including their breakfast. Loved it!
We have just been to the Royal Standard for Sunday lunch with our two Labradors. Food was excellent. Service was great and what a friendly place to go. Staff and customers made you feel at home. The beer was excellent also. We will certainly be going again.

Recently re opened , we had a family Sunday carvery which was excellent value , as much as you can eat basically for £7.95 . Friendly staff , good beer selection . Definitely worth a visit , will visit again soon. Keep up the good work and I'm sure your customer base will grow.
