Friendly, local pub! The atmosphere here felt like a warm welcome to Norfolk. Also a nice surprise to see several vegan options.

Had a family Birthday get together 50 of us, it was also Father's day. The pub was very busy. Every thing went well, we had the use of the Conservatory and garden, a lovely time had by all.We had a cold Buffet but they also offer hot Buffet or Hog roast, we couldn't fault it.The staff had a very busy time of it but stayed very professional.

Nice pub, outside seating area is great on a sunny day.. Nice staff, great food. Sunday menu could do with a healthier salad option. Cod and chips were fantastic

Had a lovely meal on Friday night warm friendly relaxed atmosphere excellent service from the staff our meal was lovely we sat and enjoyed a few drinks outside too which was lovely. A lovely relaxing night out. We also had a room booked, very warm and cozy accommodation, the room was lovely the bed was very comfy, a good size room and bathroom all very clean will definitely stay again. Breakfast was included in the cost of the room and our full English was the perfect way to start the day.

Called on Saturday evening at short notice for a table and was able to make a booking to eat in half hour. When we arrived we were greeted by lovely friendly staff and shown straight to our table. Its a lovely pub with a great atmosphere. There is a good choice of food on the menu, good portion sizes and lovely and hot. We were too full to have a dessert but also plenty of choice available. I love a pub that makes you feel comfortable and welcome. We will definitely return next time we are in the area. Thank you for a lovely evening.

Nice country pub with friendly service and tasty pub food that's well cooked. The menu's fairly simple but there's a good selection and the portions are generous. We just had a main course, my husband had the mixed grill and I had the stuffed butternut squash and we both enjoyed our meals but were too full for dessert. We'd definitely go back again.

Well we weren’t expecting to find a very busy pub in the middle of nowhere but that’s exactly what we did. We were camping next door and popped in for food. I’m not sure if the staff are always that happy but the banter, recommendations, service etc we’re all top notch. The only thing better than the service was the food… We will visit the campsite again and we will definitely be visiting the pub… Well done guys!

Walked to this beautiful pub one Sunday afternoon. Even though they were very busy they made us food that wasn't even on the menu. Thank you. Great staff, great food. Will be going back soon.

This is a good honest country pub serving excellent food. Its a little out of the way but definitely worth tracking down. The place is spotlessly clean. The main part of the pub is Grade II listed so all beams, big fireplaces and lots of character. At the back is a large modern conservatory and at the front outside seating. Plenty of parking. The staff are great, there when you need them and not when you don't!The food is first rate. My wife had the burger which was substantial and delicious. I had the Steak and Stilton pie. Cooking with Stilton can be tricky as its strong flavour can all too often overpower everything else. Not here though, perfectly balanced so you could taste both the Stilton and the steak. Well done to the chef.Being a pub there is a good selection of beers, wines and the now obligatory choice of gins. Will we go again? Damn right we will and so should you. Strongly recommended.

Used to eat here several years ago before it closed and decided to take a look having looked at the reviews. We went at lunchtime and my partner was expecting to have a light lunch. The menu was quite extensive and we decided to go for the rib eye steak and the sirloin. The steaks were cooked exactly to our liking, the food was hot, well seasoned and had a good choice of accompaniments. Service was good and there was a pleasant atmosphere with a real fire burning. Well worth a visit

12 of us came to celebrate my fathers 80th birthday. We pre ordered the main courses as requested by the restaurant. Everything was well presented and piping hot and delicious. All meals arrived together and staff were efficient at getting the food to the table and checking that everyone had everything they needed. Desserts were delicious too for those of us who could manage to eat one. Portion sizes are very good and prices are very reasonable. We throughly enjoyed our evening celebrating and would like to thank the Half Moon for their hospitality
