As a group we eat at The Otter once a week. It is pub food very reasonably priced and it’s hot and tasty. The staff, under the leadership of Mark and Carol are friendly, helpful and efficient. With a few of my mates we also go down for a drink and as a 74 year old it’s refreshing the local lads are respectful and prepared to have a joke and chat with me.I have been a resident on the estate for 30 years and think that Mark and Carol have gone a long way to bring the pub back to life and being a focal point of the community. Long may they continue.

We go to the Otter on a weekly basis; and have done so for quite a few years since living here for 25 years.It has had its problems in the past.I must say Mark and Carol have turned it around, the staff are very friendly, the food is good, lots of atmosphere with friendly regulars.

Nice, cheap and cheerful place for lunch. Staff were helpful and polite. Few bits missing from the menu which would have ordered but the food we had was lovely for the price.

We celebrate Christmas Eve with family and friends every year and decided this year, as we have started visiting weekly again, to go to our local, The Otter. Over the years landlords have come and gone but Mark and his team are great. Very accommodating with all our needs and nothing was too much trouble for them. They moved tables to cater for our party of twelve and several times came to check to make sure everything was okay. The pub once again has that local, family feel and we very much look forward to our next visit.

What a great pub, we were visiting friends who took us to this pub. The food and service was great ?. The manager was very friendly and a great entertainer!! We went to watch the football, we really enjoyed the atmosphere and will definitely be back. The food came out quickly and well presented thank you

Had a bite to eat with a friend. Went for the 2 meals for 11.95. As it happens both went for gammon. Really nice. Friend said IPA was good and was cheap. Not too busy but not empty. Bar staff were good and attentive.
