“Went here today for Sunday lunch and was very impressed with the service & food. On our arrival was met by a polite young lady who offered us a great table. Good selection of drinks we wasn’t sure which draught to have but went with the recommended choice which was nice crisp & light. Food arrived from kitchen well presented and the meat was absolutely mouth watering. Very good portion size Unfortunately I couldn’t finish this but was great value for money. My compliments go to the chef. Highly recommend and would eat here again.”

“I've always had a fantastic experience at the Running Horse. I take my Grandad almost every Sunday so we're pretty clued in! Food is always a high quality and the staff are always so friendly such as Hazel, Grace and Jas! I will always recommend the Running Horse when people ask about dining around Fakenham.”

“4 stars because there is room for improvement.
Atmosphere was excellent with friendly patrons and staff. Clean and well kept establishment in a lovely location. One of the best Spoons, if not the best ive been in.
To feed a small group the price was good and a decent selection for those non meat eaters in our party.
My only criticisms are, I asked for a couple of fried eggs on my meal which were over and hard yolks, still edible but a runny yolk would've been nicer. Second, the chips were reheated and you could tell, again edible but only just. Always best to cook fresh. Nice sausages with good flavour, so that was pleasant.
I don't tend to frequent Spoons establishments as they are not for me but I would make an exception to visit this one again.”

“Absolutely incredible food, nothing to fault at all! Very very tasty, not greasy unlike other places I have bought fish and chips from in the past. The portions are pretty decent, I was full but didn't feel uncomfortable. The service was outstanding, I will recommend Drifters to everyone!”

“I had an ultimate breakfast, because for £6.99 it's well worth it to make sure there's enough on the plate you enjoy. And as a breastfeeding mum I certianly have the appetite.I enjoyed it all, it was crispy where it should be, tender where it should be, and the meat was well cooked without burning its skin, the fried bread is beautifully crunchy with a lovely taste, not the over cooked fatty nonsense you find in some places.I must say I'm massively impressed with the value for money, the quality of the food that you'd pay double to get less anywhere else! Thankyou very much for this wonderful breakfast experience ??❤️”
