Stayed here one night, very friendly helpful staff. Nice size room, very comfy bed, really handy for going to the Holkham nature reserve only about 15 mins drive and extremely well priced , will definitely stay here again.

The twin room was nice and roomy with clean ensuite shower room. The beds were comfy, we were warm, the heating was sufficient. Plenty of tea and coffee and cereal and orange juice left in the room. It was a steep climb up the stairs which put us off going down to ask for more milk which we could have done with for the cereal in the morning. Would have preferred some more healthy cereals than oversweetened ones and rice crispies. Would stay again for the Thursford Christmas Spectacular nearby. As others have said, the lady who we checked in with was not welcoming and did not show us to the room.

Just the right location as we had a wedding reception in walking distanceRoom tidy, although a fan would be a good idea as it was very hot.Although breakfast was not included it was a nice surprise to find a small fridge with orange juice and milk in it, plus 2 bowls and a selection of cereals.I'd stay again
The accommodation is low budget and basic, and on that front it served its purpose for a one night stop over in Fakenham. Unfortunately, the welcome from the lady (Sue) downstairs in the pub itself, was far from being friendly and welcoming. I've never experienced such rudeness and for that reason I will never stay at the R.H again.
