First time visit to the Red Lion Lounge and we were impressed with the friendly customer service, Sophie was very helpful and attentive. The food was also excellent, everyone in our party thoroughly enjoyed their meals. We ate in the bistro, there was a friendly vibe, good atmosphere. We will definitely be visiting again, 5 stars from us.

Excellent service by Ryan. Very polite and attentive. The atmosphere was very nice and homey. The food was absolutely delicious and very well prepared. Very impressed. Me and my partner came here on the off chance after going to Thursford lights then we decided to drive to Fakenham and found this beautiful restaurant. We had a lovely dinner. We definitely will be coming again. Thankyou to the Staff and Chefs for a lovely meal.

Went for a pre Christmas meal with some friends. Atmosphere was wonderful the dining room was very Christmassy. Had the set menu which I can’t fault. The beef was so well cooked and so soft. The deserts were just as good, we had the chocolate tart with cherry ice cream , one of the best things I’ve tasted. They also had a nice selection of cocktails which we felt obliged to sample. Staff were amazing they couldn’t do enough for you and made it such a relaxing time.
This is an excellent restaurant. We just had dinner there today. The food was excellent. Plenty of choice of food and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend this restaurant.

We had pre booked table for nine, and has there was already a party of 30 upstairs We were placed in a room downstairs. This would have been fine if there had been a door separating our room from the rest if the pub. The food was lovely, although small portions, the service was really good couldn't fault the way we were looked after. We asked for the heating to be switched on in the room, which was done but sadly made little difference.The Red Lion was busy at the time as the Christmas switch on festivities was happening in Fakenham and the pub was extremely busy.Overall we couldn't fault the service, the food was tastey although noticed the portions were little on the small size. If our room had been warmer then everything would have been perfect.

We had a wonderful meal here. The roasted pork belly and hake fillet with chorizo and butter bean were great. My daughter had the prawns on shells starter, which arrived with 5 langoustins in a delicious sauce. The staff went out of the way to accommodate our last minute party of 7 with young kids and were very helpful and relaxed. The restaurant room upstairs was lovely. Warm, cosy and very upmarket with a piano and Christmas decor and nice lighting. Very glad to have found this, we will be back soon as we are often in this area. Highly recommend.

My family and I attended this place when we visited fakenham to watch the light switch on. The place was clean and tidy, the food was delicious and the staff were so friendly and welcoming , however , I have given 1 star for the atmosphere as the manager there , ( lady with blonde hair ) was so rude to her staff it made me as well as others in my gathering , feel so uncomfortable, I am not a regular so unsure if this was a one off but it totally ruined the whole atmosphere.
