Moving from Surrey to Norfolk has been a change and an eye opener but finding a new local like this is second to none, treated like a regular from day one and never treated like a non regular, the family and friends that own this pub are out of this world and go out of their way to make you feel welcome!!! If your staying local or moving into the area then go to the wellington, amazing food vans and live music at the weekends and always things too do in the week…. Cannot recommend highly enough

Green Man Methwold Hythe
1 Whiteplot Rd, Methwold Hythe, ThetfordWe came for Sunday roast, and had the loveliest roast, the beef melted in my mouth, you had 4 different fresh vegetables, along with roast potatoes and huge homemade Yorkshire pudding, can't recommend this enough. Nice selection of beers, ciders, spirits and soft drinks. Will definitely use again, can highly recommend. The owners Gary and Lesley and staff are so welcoming.
