We have tried both norwich & thetford & both places are brilliant. We ate at thetford tonight absolutely brilliant service & amazing food. 100% recommend.

New Saffron

I ordered to take away Chicken Makon, Chicken Byriani, salad, chutney poppadom and rice.

These guys don't mess around. Brilliant all round and the food. What can I say.....excellent.

Mr Chips Thetford

We went last night during the Christmas lights switch on and the place was packed. We expected a long wait and rushed food but we were wrong! The cod was delicious and chips perfect, and the wait was only about ten minutes. Very impressed, they kept their cool under immense pressure and I think everyone left happy ?.

Central Cafe & Restaurant

We only popped in for a cappuccino each, but the cafe was lovely inside and the staff were very friendly and quick! You have to go up and order but there is a large and varied menu of food and drink when we had a look at it!! It was clean and the seats were comfortable to sit on too! Good prices as well!

Wheelchair accessibility: No wheelchair access as steps up to the door unfortunately!

Thetford Raj Restaurant

We traveled to the thetford Raj from Norwich on a recommendation from a friend who lives in the local area. We went on a Thursday banquet night (which they have on every Wednesday and Thursday)and it was a wonderful experience, everything was exceptional! The quality of food was very high with generous portion sizes and the staff were very friendly and accommodating! I would highly recommend those to all indian food lovers, you wont be disappointed! Value for money at its best.

The Warrener

Morgan and Scott both worked hard to make Everything great for us - we had the table we preferred, and the service was friendly and excellent. Sunday roast was the usual fare, although a member of our group mourns the loss of the hot crumble and custard dessert option!

Tesco Cafe

We’ve come here quite a few times before shopping to relax and have some quality time with my kiddo ? lovely place, good service and yummy treats but best of all- the coffee is delicious! (Also free babychinos for the littles). This will definitely be our regular stop before we shop place ?

Norfolk Terrier

We were looking for a dog friendly pub today and ended up at The Norfolk Terrier. Mum and I were very impressed with the lovely Sunday carvery and Rose and all the staff were so friendly and helpful. We will definitely be going back. Thank you.

Costa Coffee Thetford

I really like this coffee shop, and the Costa brand. The coffees are very tasty as well as the food. The price is welcome in comparison to other brands. It does get a bit noisy in the shop and is often packed on a Saturday late morning. The staff are friendly.

Greggs

The staff are really good and coffee is always nice, although on my last visit 2x people in front of me asked for a cappuccino and I saw the girl pressing the latte button. I also ordered a cappuccino but had a different server and she did press the right button. Not sure if one of the machines were broken.Only other thing that let's this place down is the riff raff sat outside smoking, right by the door which fills the cafe up and puts you off.

Chase

The food was reasonably priced and nice portions, no table service and have to order through the app or at the bar , but the fantastic staff are polite, quick and extremely friendly. The food was great too.
Have been here twice now and it will definately be my local for food and/or drink.
Would definately recommend this place.
Would prefer table service, but hey, this is what they do.
Only one small comment though, I ordered a starter and a main and had just finished the starter with a mouthful still not eaten and the main turned up. Would have preferred a bit more of a gap to digest my starter which was so big it was very filling, but that is just a very very small point.
Would definately come back!!

Feltwell Chinese Takeaway

food has always been really good whenever I have ordered from there, only 4 star because they dont take card payments in the store, you have to use some pointless online app that is long winded and a general pain in the backside. just get a card machine!

Subway

Had the brand new jacket potato with meatballs, way better than going out to a spud van and for half the price too. Think I’ve got a new favourite item on the menu 10/10

USA Fried Chicken & Pizza

The food was delicious and filling, the staff were very friendly and polite, and the prices were reasonable. It was just a bit chilly inside, but overall a great experience. Special thanks to Mr. Tyson for the amazing grilled chicken.

Domino's Pizza - Thetford

Me and my brother arrived here at 10:58, 2 minutes before they closed, they still were happy to accommodate us and complete our order. Friendly, professional service from the staff, we apologized, but they were still warm and provided friendly service. Food was great, just what we needed after a long drive. Will definitely visit again, maybe a little earlier next time!

So where do I starts…. Was are daughters 18th birthday party today was a party of 21 people.. the service was exceptional the food was incredible I can’t recommend them enough.. all staff went above and beyond I will most certainly be returning ❤️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Black Horse

We had a work leaving lunch here this afternoon with a group of 20, and it was fantastic from start to finish. We sat out on the back patio in the lovely beer garden, which made it even more enjoyable in the sunshine.
The food and service were genuinely 10/10 as always. Every single meal came out hot & at the same time, which is impressive for such a large group — no one was left waiting at all. The staff were brilliant too, really friendly and good fun!

As always, we had a great time and couldn’t fault a thing. Highly recommend and will be using for future big gatherings!

Browns Café

We just stopped here for lunch on a VERY hot very busy bank holiday monday. We've passed this place so many times but never stopped. The menu is great. Lots of yummy options to choose from. We both had a toastie and they were very very nice. All reasonably priced too. But the best thing was the service. Everyone was so welcoming and friendly. We highly recommend stopping here and we will definitely be back!

L' s Kitchen

Excellent breakfast with fresh, well-cooked food and generous portions. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, creating a warm and pleasant atmosphere. A fantastic café that I would highly recommend.

Franklins Brasserie

We came for Christmas Day lunch, as a large group it was brilliant to be in the newly refurbished function room. The food was excellent and we were very grateful for the attentive, friendly service. This is our second visit as a large group and on both occasions we would have no hesitation in recommending the Thomas Paine - thank you to you all

The Thetford Albion

Great old stone walled pub, beautiful building and has a welcoming community feel. Especially looking forward to this weekend as they are hosting my favourite food van, Thats a Wrap , Friday 8th and Saturday 9th August, 5 till 9 :)

Wong's Taste of China

Great Chinese takeaway experience! The food was really good, full of flavour, nicely cooked and it was ready quickly for collection. Perfect if you’re after something tasty without a long wait. Would definitely order again!

O Cabaz

A fixture in Thetford, a cosy lovely cafe serving Portuguese products, coffee (espresso was excellent ??), beers on tap and bottled, fresh sandwiches and pastries. Clearly beloved by the local Portuguese population and friendly to all. Worth a visit

I almost don't want to recommend them too much because I want to keep seeing their bread in stock but they really are a lovely local bakery and their bread is exemplary

Clubhouse Bar & Restaurant

We're not golfers, but we were happy to discover that the clubhouse café is open to non-members, as we were desperate for a brunch. The menu offered plenty of choices, and the service, food quality and prices were all excellent. Really glad to discover this place as a pleasant eating option.

Cakes4Unorfolk

Stumbled upon Cakes4uNorfolk whilst looking for a dog shaped cake for a 60th birthday, a few bakeries had unfortunately told me they couldn’t make the cake I was looking for. I then continued to asked for additions to the cake (including dog friendly cupcakes!) not a problem with any of it! Absolutely wonderful and friendly, very understanding and forgiving of my babbling nature! Delivered right on time and the cake was beautiful! Couldn’t have been happier thank-you!

The Red Lion - JD Wetherspoon

This is the 3rd Wetherspoons I’ve been to in the space of a month. I’m looking out for Wetherspoons to visit as I really like finding a table and then ordering on the app. It is so much simpler than waiting at the bar for if you get served and then if you can find a table. This is the 1st time I’ve ordered food at a Wetherspoons and although I was really impressed they serve my favourite breakfast ‘eggs Benedict’ and I also ordered 2 rashers of bacon, everything was really cold, tasty but I prefer hot food. Maybe a Thetford thing as it’s the same in other places. Other than that, keep up the good work. Cherry Pepsi Max with slice of lime was really nice. I really like the set up of the pub / restaurant and decor.

Oriental Garden Chinese Restaurant

Used China Garden a few times with my usual affair (everyone has their go too food choice ). Never had fault with the service or quality (delivered). I did, one time (and not at band camp) order something I just thought sounded decent and never tried before. For me, I found it a little bland, but then I had no comparison.

Genuinely a solid example of a Chinese takeaway.
