New Saffron

We had the pleasure of dining here whilst on Holiday this week. Our only regret is that this restaurant isn't nearer where we actually live. The food and service were impeccable. We chatted with the chef Patron - a lovely chap who's passion for the food he cooks shines through in every mouthful. A credit to his Father who ran the business before him. A true gent running a true gem of a restaurant. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Food was unreal, great portions and such a high standard, service from junior was also so attentive and friendly, will definitely be back and would recommend to anyone in thetford area!

Stopped off here for breakfast. Very nice selection of hot food and drinks. Everything was great. Katrina was friendly and helpful. Will definitely call in again.

Mr Chips Thetford

We went last night during the Christmas lights switch on and the place was packed. We expected a long wait and rushed food but we were wrong! The cod was delicious and chips perfect, and the wait was only about ten minutes. Very impressed, they kept their cool under immense pressure and I think everyone left happy ?.

Thetford Raj Restaurant

We traveled to the thetford Raj from Norwich on a recommendation from a friend who lives in the local area. We went on a Thursday banquet night (which they have on every Wednesday and Thursday)and it was a wonderful experience, everything was exceptional! The quality of food was very high with generous portion sizes and the staff were very friendly and accommodating! I would highly recommend those to all indian food lovers, you wont be disappointed! Value for money at its best.

Central Cafe & Restaurant

We only popped in for a cappuccino each, but the cafe was lovely inside and the staff were very friendly and quick! You have to go up and order but there is a large and varied menu of food and drink when we had a look at it!! It was clean and the seats were comfortable to sit on too! Good prices as well!

Wheelchair accessibility: No wheelchair access as steps up to the door unfortunately!

Tesco Cafe

Very pleased with the chef Stewart who always delivers perfect food even when I need specific changes/accommodations. He is a great asset to the team at Tesco Thetford cafe

Norfolk Terrier

Stopped here for quick pint on way home from Norwich what a lovely pub landlady was lovely mentioned it was my friends birthday and we’d been to Norwich to play golf and she bought him a pint
if up that way again will definitely pop in ??

Costa Coffee Thetford

I really like this coffee shop, and the Costa brand. The coffees are very tasty as well as the food. The price is welcome in comparison to other brands. It does get a bit noisy in the shop and is often packed on a Saturday late morning. The staff are friendly.

Greggs

The staff are really good and coffee is always nice, although on my last visit 2x people in front of me asked for a cappuccino and I saw the girl pressing the latte button. I also ordered a cappuccino but had a different server and she did press the right button. Not sure if one of the machines were broken.Only other thing that let's this place down is the riff raff sat outside smoking, right by the door which fills the cafe up and puts you off.

Chase

The food was reasonably priced and nice portions, no table service and have to order through the app or at the bar , but the fantastic staff are polite, quick and extremely friendly. The food was great too.
Have been here twice now and it will definately be my local for food and/or drink.
Would definately recommend this place.
Would prefer table service, but hey, this is what they do.
Only one small comment though, I ordered a starter and a main and had just finished the starter with a mouthful still not eaten and the main turned up. Would have preferred a bit more of a gap to digest my starter which was so big it was very filling, but that is just a very very small point.
Would definately come back!!

Feltwell Chinese Takeaway

We have recently relocated to the area and left behind a very good Chinese takeaway that we used regularly so after trying two other local Chinese’s here we were very disappointed, this evening we had a takeaway from feltwell and it was so good!! I have to say even better than our Cheltenham takeaway, the food was very tasty, definitely fresh and cooked to order with a great friendly service, and after collecting it we found out they deliver to us!! I can see us being weekly customers. Highly recommend

Had the brand new jacket potato with meatballs, way better than going out to a spud van and for half the price too. Think I’ve got a new favourite item on the menu 10/10

USA Fried Chicken & Pizza

The food was delicious and filling, the staff were very friendly and polite, and the prices were reasonable. It was just a bit chilly inside, but overall a great experience. Special thanks to Mr. Tyson for the amazing grilled chicken.

Domino's Pizza - Thetford

Me and my brother arrived here at 10:58, 2 minutes before they closed, they still were happy to accommodate us and complete our order. Friendly, professional service from the staff, we apologized, but they were still warm and provided friendly service. Food was great, just what we needed after a long drive. Will definitely visit again, maybe a little earlier next time!

Went for A Sunday lunch with visiting friends. Food is brilliant, great roast dinner, excellent desserts, and reasonable prices. Staff are friendly. All in all would highly recommend.

This is great place, food is great staff are always friendly. Very popular book of there are few of you.

Can not fault this place. The atmosphere, the hospitality and the food are perfect. It’s like home from home. Terry the landlord is a diamond and a gentleman, unfortunately not many of them left. When ever I am back in the area I will be popping in. Thank you Terry and the team. Paul from London.

Excellent breakfast with fresh, well-cooked food and generous portions. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, creating a warm and pleasant atmosphere. A fantastic café that I would highly recommend.

The Thetford Albion

Great old stone walled pub, beautiful building and has a welcoming community feel. Especially looking forward to this weekend as they are hosting my favourite food van, Thats a Wrap , Friday 8th and Saturday 9th August, 5 till 9 :)

I went to go get some pats wraps very cheap but such good quality only £4.50 for something of such excellent quality. The work atmosphere is absolutely amazing and they work as a team to complete tasks efficiently and effectively.The workers are polite and welcoming and check for wether you are allergic to any ingredients. They also have a great hygiene maintenance.

Clubhouse Bar & Restaurant

I often come here for lunch and have never been disappointed. Today for a change, I had ham. egg and chips. Best I've had anywhere. Three slices of beautiful dry ham, two perfectly cooked friend eggs and a plateful of delicious crispy chips. I couldn't eat it all. I suppose the potion sizes are aimed at the men as they are massive. All the food is very reasonably price, with a discount for members.

Wong's Taste of China

I bought half a duck tonight because I had a craving, and I wasn’t disappointed! I usually stick to the same Chinese place I’ve been going to for years, but I didn’t want to travel, so I decided to give this one a try — and I’m so glad I did.

The gentleman who served me was really friendly and welcoming, and even threw in some free prawn crackers, which was such a lovely touch. The duck was absolutely delicious — tender, full of flavour, and cooked perfectly. The portion was so generous that I’ve got enough left for tomorrow and maybe even the next day, so it’s basically two or three meals for the price of one!
I would definitely recommend and will be using this chinese from now on.

We came for Christmas Day lunch, as a large group it was brilliant to be in the newly refurbished function room. The food was excellent and we were very grateful for the attentive, friendly service. We stopped for a drink and sit down while we were walking around Thetford. We sat outside in a large area. That staff were friendly and efficient. We only had a drink each and used the WCs but I would stop here again if I am in the area.
