Stayed here on business, the room was perfectly functional. The breakfast was great and the staff were delightful to deal with.Next time I'm in town and need a place it'll be here.

What a delight this hotel was. From the warm greeting, the lovely decor, the cleanliness, lovely spacious and well appointed room. The food was great too and the relaxed atmosphere. It was nice to enjoy a drink in the bar. Free parking on the street. We always got a space. All the staff are a credit to the hotel especially Georgia and Lilli. Thank you for making it such an enjoyable stay. Great Yarmouth seaside delights were lovely to explore.

Booked last minute for a short midweek break and from the moment we stepped into the hotel we were greeted by a lovely member of staff who instantly made us feel very welcome. The hotel itself is really clean and modern and our room ( Superior lower ground floor) was immaculate. Standout feature being the large bathroom :). Breakfast was an absolute treat!... loved my full english breakfast! Would not hesitate in booking this hotel again for the facilities and for the lovely staff that made our stay such a delight.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Andover House is a lovely hotel, with a nice bar, restaurant, lounge and breakfast room. Our room was comfortable and spacious, although the shower cubicle was a bit small (it did say so in the room description) but it was fine for us. Nice menus for dinner and breakfast and a well stocked bar. As nice as the hotel itself was, it was the staff who made our stay so good. They were great, very attentive, always smiling and extremely helpful. Neil H - Lincolnshire

Lovely hotel, nice old building but quite modern inside on a leafy street.Very clean and nicely presented, very friendly staff.Room was double bay window and was perfect for us, nice size.Fairly quiet location with a small amount of passing traffic sometimes.Adults only hotel, so a great break for us to recharge from the kids.Staff are very friendly and approachable.Only negative is we didn't have breakfast as didn't fancy full English but everything on the menu is the same price which doesn't represent value for money, for example a bowl of porridge is the same price as a full English(£7.50).Other then that everything was perfect. Will defo stay again, well done to hotel management and the staff for creating a lovely hotel to stay in.

June 2022 - Stayed here for one night. Its location is brilliant, free parking outside - best if you get there early for a spot. The hotel itself was so clean outside and even cleaner inside. It's warm and friendly. The receptionist was very informative and helpful. We loved the room, it was a nice size with en-suite. I know it's an old building but it's so creaky, the floors, wardrobe, bed and chair. I wake up early to enjoy the day and worry so much I'm going to wake the next room.I really like the fact its 13years and over because its nice to have a break from my children and not have to listen to others' children instead.

I would like to say few words about this mini hotel. Atmosphere like at home, personnel very gentle, good kitchen and bar here. Salon for the guests. Everything here pushes you feeling yourself as at home. This hotel located very near to famous tourist location - embankment with numerous places of interest!

Stayed here for one night. Its location is brilliant, free parking outside - best if you get there early for a spot. The hotel itself was so clean outside and even cleaner inside. It's warm and friendly. The receptionist was very informative and helpful. We loved the room, it was a nice size with en-suite. Ir had the usual, tea, coffee etc. Had a hairdryer and iron which is nice, even a fan!! We don't drink so we didn't use the bar. We also didn't know that with booking.com you have to pay for breakfast when it's included if you book direct. Our mistake, noted for next time. :) I know it's an old building but it's so creaky, the floors, wardrobe, bed and chair. I wake up early to enjoy the day and worry so much I'm going to wake the next room. I also really like the fact its 13years and over because its nice to have a break from my children and not have to listen to others' children instead. Overall its brilliant. Will stay again when we need a break from our kids.

The Andover is an excellent well run hotel positioned in a delightful square off the main seafront. The hotel is well presented and maintained, with great facilities, excellent staff and offers excellent food and drink in the bar, restaurant and breakfast room.

We stayed here after our original hotel let us down so booked at very short notice The staff were really helpful and accommodating The room was smartly decorated and spotlessly clean We just wish we’d gone there in the first place

Stayed for a 2 night break in May- and for the price would definitely recommend. I was lucky to get parking right outside both days, though appreciate that is not guaranteed. The welcome was friendly and efficient and the room had everything needed and was comfortable and a good size for a single. In terms of location it is good - near the beach but not too busy, in walking (or short bus ride) to the town, and also near several good bars and even a Banksy painting. I didn’t use the hotel restaurant or bar, however the breakfast was very good so would recommend that.

Fantastic hotel. Hidden away on a lovely quiet street just minutes from the seafront. All staff very friendly and helpful. Double with lounge room was spotless and very spacious. Food was amazing both breakfast and dinner.

I stay here every time I stay in Great Yarmouth and I am never disappointed. The staff are extremely helpful and welcoming, the rooms are clean and modern and the food is delicious, so delicious in fact, that friends, who stay in other hotels, come to eat dinner with us at Andover House. Altogether, a great place to stay.
