the grange hotel, Yarmouth Rd, Ormesby St Margaret, Great YarmouthWent on a Thursday and the place was hopping. Live music and a bar outside. Fabulous atmosphere. Really good menu choices, the blooming onion was lovely and crunchy and massive, we got meat candy also as a starter which you could cut with a fork! Yum. we shared a bbq blowout main as you get a bit of everything and it was lush. ( no photo as we dived right in ) Booking recommended but we did just turn up and lucked out with a table. Service was good and food came quickly. Highly recommend.

We both had the chicken biryani, the chicken was delicate and everything was flavoursome. My partner had the madras and he said the flavours were amazing and the chicken was cooked just right. I’m so glad we did!
Family of 3, with a toddler.
They are so versed with gluten free and dairy free (I have allergies) I was so comfortable eating here.
They gave me separate bread and oil, made sure I was okay and ensured all my food was free from. I enjoyed a Kleftiko and my husband had Gyros and pitta.
The children’s meal looked delicious too and my son enjoyed it all.
The best bit was: GLUTEN FREE AND VEGAN CHEESECAKE! Best to say I had a lovely meal here and would visit again if we came back to GY!

Bridge Rd, Great YarmouthVisited the bar and grill twice during our stay - attractive place live music sat at the side of the water really enjoyable.
The menu had lots to choose from , home cooked food - the shepherds pie was delicious the veg was a bit disappointing peas and corn and a little jug of gravy would have been nice.
The young people serving were lovely and efficient .
We had breakfast the following day - it was especially good value and very tasty including unlimited tea and coffee.
The only niggle - the website, menu and chslkboard outside all had different opening times - very confusing had to take pot luck .

The place was clean and quiet, the food was fresh, quick and hot (perks of going in when its a quiet winter month I suppose). The building was super warm as well, so really nice to be in considering how icy and gloomy outside was at the time. ?

Getting through the traffic lights is a bit of a faff until you realise you have to drive up the ‘line’ by the lights otherwise they don’t change.
Parking is also a bit of a challenge until you discover parking at Lathams even though you aren’t shopping there!
Finally made it in and welcome was very positive and friendly.
Good menu including gluten free options.
My wife and I chose the double decker toasties which were excellent. Also ordered some chips which regrettably were Luke warm !
Overall food and drinks along with service was very good. Will be returning but might miss on ordering the chips next time!

The owner even chucked in some spicy potatoes which is a lovely gesture! Will definetly get again from there when in Yarmouth next.

The Grn, Martham, Great YarmouthLovely place, fish and chips delicious, perfectly cooked, good selection of cold drinks. Southern fried chicken better than the colonels! And you can park just outside and sit outside too next to the lovely green. We were even treated to some baby ducks going past.

Ormesby Traditional Fish & Chips
The Green, Ormesby Saint Margaret, Great YarmouthDecided to try here whilst staying nearby in Scratby after reading good reviews and the fact they fry the traditional way in beef dripping which is rare to find back home. Everything including the chips is fried fresh to order whilst you wait, nothing sitting under the hot lamp for hours waiting to be bought! The only downside is the portion sizes, the large chips were slightly on the small side and the large cod wasn't as big as we've had from other chippies. But can't fault the quality of everything we had and the prices are still cheaper than many others. ?

High St, Ludham, Great YarmouthHoliday on the Broads, and found this lovely pub whilst moored at Womack Staith. When visited, lucky us (9off) they had a carvery. Whilst challenging sometimes being a coeliac eating out, they told me they provided gluten free Yorkshire x 2 and a separate jug of gravy. Not only that, the sausages were gf. Great staff, well accomodating, little chuffing train above your head.

Really good menu choices, the blooming onion was lovely and crunchy and massive, we got meat candy also as a starter which you could cut with a fork! Yum. we shared a bbq blowout main as you get a bit of everything and it was lush. ( no photo as we dived right in ) Booking recommended but we did just turn up and lucked out with a table. Service was good and food came quickly. Highly recommend.

None of us was impressed with this and will look for another chip shop. Since this review year's ago very pleased to say wow what a great improvement!!!! The Fishermans Inn, Butt Ln, Burgh Castle, Great YarmouthWe did the Angles Way walk and passed this pub on way to Burgh Castle (15/20 min walk along river front walk). We stopped for drinks on way there and way back. The staff were very friendly. Clean toilets. Indoor and outdoor seating areas. Watching boats passing. We didn't eat but they do serve food. They also had a pool table in the other room (not the main pub area)
