I had a menu pop through my letterbox last week and decided to have some food delivered at the weekend.The delivery time was perfectly satisfactory and the driver was friendly and polite.The food was excellent !Kebab:Lovely moist, tender, and perfectly cooked meat that was obviously freshly carved and did not contain any dryness.Liberally covered with requested mayonnaise.Pitta bread:Not dry or overcooked. Tasted wonderful because it had soaked up some of the meat juices.Salad:Served in a separate container. Very fresh and a large portion.Potato wedges:Not the oven cooked type of frozen wedges that many kebab & pizza shops serve but the fluffy, expertly seasoned real potato wedges that could easily be served with your Sunday roast.Fried chicken:The chicken was perfectly cooked but the premier consideration is always the coating.This batter was just right for me. It was pleasantly flavoured with subtle herbs and spices that charmingly complimented the chicken.Halloumi:The first time that I tried this 'squeaky cheese' so I had no preconceived expectations.It was pleasantly cooked, very mild in flavour, accompanied by a fresh salad and was indeed squeaky on your teeth !I've got nothing to compare it with but all I can say is that I thoroughly enjoyed it.Finally, I received a complimentary pizza based garlic bread that was pleasant enough but I can't claim that it was anything other than standard quality.I still enjoyed it though and was pleased with the gesture.So that's it.Very enjoyable food, expertly presented and delivered with a smile.I completely recommend this restaurant and will definitely be using again.✔️

Had a wonderful afternoon tea here, one vegetarian option, one regular option. There were 4 different sandwich fillings; a sausage roll/vegetarian sausage roll; a huge wedge of Victoria sponge cake; fruit scone with clotted cream and jam; chocolate brownie; macaron and Eton mess. Unlimited tea served in lovely china cups. Also, they let you take home any that you can't manage in a take away box, which is handy because there is a lot of delicious food! The staff are really friendly and helpful and it is spotlessly clean.

What a lovely visit today , we had never been to a Harry Ramsdens and we were really thrilled with our afternoon tea , what a great change it was, really super value all tasted delicious, and the two ladies Hollie and Sophie really were doing an amazing job of a busy restaurant, they were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble, they never stopped.... very impressed by them both..Normally I don't leave a review but really felt it was a truly great visit and we shall return..Well done ladies... you are a credit to the company.

My friend Dave and I visited this establishment after sinking a few beers in a pub. We walked in to an empty restaurant at about 20.30 on a Tuesday night . It seemed dead , but then a woman ( named Wen ) appeared. She gave us a warm welcome and we were seated . Ordered a couple of small tiger beers whilst scanning the menu. We ordered and sat talking. Had some great banter / laughter with Wen as the restaurant was all ours . The food arrived and we tucked in . Wow wow the food was exceptional, so so tasty and absolute quality. All fresh produce, you can just tell. 10 out of 10 . The decor is dated but it’s all about the food . Well done to the chef

Situated on the promenade with a large car park behind it.No toilets but public toilets 10/15 min walk away.Vegetarian options: We love the vegetarian breakfast aswell as the Halloumi Stack (halloumi in a brioche burger bun with salad and sweet chilli sauce). Portion of chips is plentiful and we usually share between 2 if having a burger.If you eat fish they sporadically offer a seafood chowder.Parking: Paid car park behind. About 6-8 free spaces at the side of the cafe. On street parking is free all along the seafront during the winter months. Check the signage.

Visited Alexandra on a cold, wet and frankly ,miserable Monday evening in December. However the welcome could not have been warmer. The drinks were offered and served quickly whilst we browsed the more than adequate menu. There is an obvious Greek edge to the offerings with Kleftiko, Moussaka and stiffado all on offer. We agreed, to share a starter of whitebait, which came promptly to the table fresh and tasty, although a small quantity of brown bread and butter or similar would have completed the dish, we devoured the little critters with relish. For mains my wife plumped for the lamb chops with chips, vine tomatoes and mushroom. A hearty meal, with three well cooked and tasty chops. I went for the cod with a salad and new potatoes, again extremely well cooked, and one of the best dishes I've had in a restaurant for some time. We had a couple of drinks with our meal, but declined dessert even though the menu and the friendly waiter encouraged us on.The restaurant was understandably very quiet due to weather etc, but we enjoyed the time we spent there and would/will definitely return.

Wanted to try this place after we saw a YouTube review by "Gary Eats" and weren't disappointed. What a lovely place ? full of nostalgia and loved the themed background music too. Staff were friendly, and the food was tasty. Had a mooch around the gift shop outside afterwards which had some really nice items, and we came away with a "Pike" Teddy bear ?

Recently dined at here and Tried their Thalassery biriyani,the Kerala Porotta and the beef Curry was soo yum!! While the dish was enjoyable, it didn't quite exceed expectations in terms of flavor complexity or uniqueness. However their every bite was a standout, impressing with its rich taste and tender texture. We were highly recommended this restaurant by our taxi driver as we came into Great Yarmouth for the weekend. We had booked to go to the Smokehouse the day later so we weren't sure if we fancied steak, but took a chance and so glad we did! The food was spectacular, honestly one of the best meals I've had in a long time. What really made the night though was the service. Our waiter was a delight, really genuinely good company, got on our level making jokes, was interested hearing about our holiday and made good conversation. This restaurant is a must visit for anyone in Great Yarmouth!

First time at the Filby Bridge Restaurant and we will return.Lovely setting overlooking the broads. It was fairly quite, which surprised given the lovely setting and the quality of our food was very good and presentation was excellent. The only thing that let the food down was the chips, they were very bitty, as if the were the end of the packet. First time we have had a meal in SW1, as we are looking for a new favourite restaurant since the management change at our previous fave, The Priory. I think we have found it!! Sw1 is spotless all round, the food was perfect, and served piping hot, and service exceptional. Menu had good variety and catered for our fussy 9 yo! Lovely and warm inside, with great ambiance and views of the river. Can't wait for next time!
