I went here in March 2024 for the first time, and was very impressed with the service, and quality of the food. I would definitely go back again. Lived in the area until 1962 and came back in 2024, sampling the excellent food. First class in every way. Very impressed with Mr Kumar and his establishment. Thoroughly recommend going to Lichfield Chippy.

Most of the time the food is amazing but for the last 2 times the batter on the burger was sloppy and greasy and the battererd sausage did not have much on it just a thin

Used to be a welcoming place before was taken over, now the staff are fairly ignorant, not friendly at all!!! The quality of the food has gone down massively, everything is greasy and dosent taste as good anymore. Wait times are long and don't order delivery for God sake, not only me, but my friends have ordered online from here too and it took them almost 2 hours to arrive with the food? And the other time we gave up and cancelled the order it took so long. This place has gone down hill massively. Cobholm chip shop is much better quality food and friendlier staff.

I was craving fish and chips and decided to try Lichfield Chippy for the 1st time in a couple of years - i was very pleased with generous pieces of cod, crispy batter and great chips freshly cooked in front of me. I was not disappointed and will be back! ?

Fish and chips are a true delight! The fish was perfectly cooked with a crispy, golden batter and the chips were wonderfully crispy on the outside and fluffy. Outstanding service.Highly recommended!
